checkindza
Hi, so I want to use ENB like this one, but the problem is that I only get 40-50fps in singleplayer but I want to play SA:MP too and that will drop fps even more. Without mods, only SilentPatch I get 100+ in singleplayer. Computer specifications are : OS: Windows 10 Pro 64x CPU : i7-4510U RAM : 8GB GPU : NVIDIA 840M No, temperatures aren't the problem, never goes up more than 60-70c. But the strange thing I noticed is that GPU usage never goes up more than 90% and CPU usage 40%. I tried the trick with Task Manager to set gta_sa.exe priority to High, didn't help. So please, can anyone give any suggestions? What I actually noticed than on ENB version like 0.075 I think I can get better fps than on version like 0.2xx or 0.3xx but there aren't any good enb on that older version. LaDiDa
Your GPU isn't for gaming and new enb versions will not perform as well for you then the older more hardware compatible ones. You might be better off with a mod like skygfx. CPU can't be utilised 100%, the game will only ever max out 1 core.
Shogun Pacino
uninstall ENB, it will just affect your FPS. Get SkyGFX instead that has PS2 Graphics & Xbox graphics to pc
checkindza
SkyGFX isn't a choice for me. I just don't like it. Well, if anything can't help than lets wish that Boris (creator of ENB) might get bored one day and improve his mod. Shogun Pacino
Get a better PC then. SkyGFX is one of the only graphic mods that don't affect fps Change blur to 0 if u don't like it. Edited April 5, 2018 by CoolMods

I will wait for other people, maybe they will give better suggestions than "get a better pc" not everyone can afford it. Like, I can run GTA V with NaturalVision Remastered mod Normal/High/Very High settings mix with FXAA and AF 16x 25-40fps. LaDiDa
Running GTA 5 at decent speed isn't significant at all. It's way more efficient in handling your (limited) resources. SA is a 32-bit application without useful multithreading and doesn't really use gpu in it's vanilla state. When adding enb you just make that eat all of your gpu (which isn't a whole lot)... Old games require way better hardware when you mod it so a hardware upgrade will be the only way to go for you. Shogun Pacino

And even ENB developer admitted that might be because of the way how he made the mod not because of my specs so I thought maybe someone found away around it or something like that... FWhyKay
Lol get a better gpu, There's not much you can do other than constantly tweak the settings on the mod, or find another gfx mod that doesn't utilize as much gpu but hopefully looks decent. checkindza
http://www.gtainside.com/en/sanandreas/mods/101548-griffin-s-low-end-enb-v2/here - look at the description of this mod. This guy has a lot worse PC than mine and he gets 25-30fps and I only get 6-15 more and I don't even have any car mods installed. One more thing I noticed, than with newer ENB versions my FPS in menu gets locked to 60fps even with FrameLimiter from enblocal.ini disabled and EnableVSync=false added too. Shogun Pacino
Why not uninstall ENB and play on normal game graphics? Your CPU is it. Edited April 6, 2018 by CoolMods
checkindza
Why not uninstall ENB and play on normal game graphics? Your CPU is it. Because I played GTA:SA for a few years with normal graphics and I just got bored already... And my CPU is really more powerful than Core 2 Duo... Shogun Pacino
Why not just try mods that won't affect FPS like Project 2DFX or SkyGFX with PS2/Mobile/Xbox graphics, i don't know any graphic mods, but i'm pretty sure that ENB has a problem. Also, SkyGFX is easy to edit the file, you can just disable blur and the graphics will be lovely, and at Mobile with dark atmosphere, there is also colormod but it's pretty crappy and lags the game after some minutes of gameplay so i don't recommand it. checkindza
For a time being, I just found a nice 0.075 ENB, changed a few things and its kinda nice and runs over 60fps.
LaDiDa
Why do you go through all the suffering to get it to run at 60 fps only to suffer from physics glitches??? Play at 30 fps and save yourself the trouble. Shogun Pacino

komet163
Even for that ENB that doesn't even look amazing, but has a big frame drop? That GPU ain't good.
