So, mods can put you into the Bad Sport.

Now, guess what? They can REMOVE you from the Bad Sport as well

 

 

 

So, if there will be no reply from the support team, guess, it's time to join the club and fix this problem yourself

 

EDIT:

The video is related to Xbox360, but it shouldn't be any different on PC if they can directly manipulate the bad sport system. If someone can pinpoint the exact menu they are using, I could help players with the bad sport problem. I have a spare account for testing mods.

You've always been able to remove bad sport via scripts / menus as far as I know. The function probably just sets the following stats:

 

STATS::STAT_SET_FLOAT(GAMEPLAY::GET_HASH_KEY("MPPLY_OVERALL_BADSPORT"), 0, true)

STATS::STAT_SET_BOOL(GAMEPLAY::GET_HASH_KEY("MPPLY_CHAR_IS_BADSPORT"), false, true)

STATS::STAT_SET_INT(GAMEPLAY::GET_HASH_KEY("MPPLY_BECAME_BADSPORT_NUM"), 0, true)

 

I think there's probably a few menus out there that can do this. Ironic though right, that a menu that can put other players into bad sport also has the function to remove their own bad sport... (not sure if that is currently the case, but it has been in the past at least).

I more meant that some folk see MTU or anything similar the PC players might need to do to avoid general public lobbies and remain alone there as cheating. Yet are blind to this real issues that are the reason for folk to need to.

 

I do hope these problems now get highlighted well, just so as going forward, they get attention, fixed, and don't get worse or happen again. Mistakes and bad coding can happen, but they gotta be fair in how they remove folk. Having your account manipulated and then flagged too, just a horrible scenario to be in. (Old gen was a sh*t show by the time I left, lol).

 

If what's happening on PC hits current gen, IMHO, it's a game killer really. As we've seen with this game since the upgrade to current consoles. Opinion of the content aside, the game flourished by offering a far safer experience than old gen did. Potential is huge now, they gotta show willing to be able to fix this crap, it puts folk off. (Naturally, the content needed to be a draw too though).

 

Those that call me a cheat, I usually just ignore/laugh at, though, the odd numpty can draw me in, lol. But again, I know otherwise, it's all good. (I enjoy a bit of spice now and then too, lol. )

We are not talking about reasonable or not, we are talking about r* logic. Is it legit? No, or else r* will provide legit way to do it.

 

When legit player ask if it is banable you know it is something cross the line, even outfit glitch.

 

If it is not legit, more or less it is cheating.

Correct which means OP has been sent to BS lobbies several times before as time is added each time you get put in there such as first time is 24hr second time is 72 hours and so on and so forth

bad sport has not been removed from any platform. turning off bad sport points and insurance costs for blowing up vehicles is done by tunables. you have always been able to acquire bad sport points by leaving jobs early and being reported/kicked.

First - r* has logs and see what happens to your account (with a huge level of precision), therefore a good ticket solves problems caused by cheaters (although it's a nuisance to wait for that if you have to play in bad sport for 2 days - btw how do you even get there legit way?).

Second - the reason for banning innocent people is very simple - it's stupidity of people who make (and respond in) threads like this one. I do not mean the thread as a whole, but the "misnaming".
If you write to r* "Modder did this and that..." - you are an idiot; you give them an idea that a modder is bad. Modders are not bad, mods are not bad. Mods DO NOT INTERFERE with any other player than the modder himself, and people who also have that mod installed. Confusing modding with cheating does good to cheaters, and cheaters only. Because of that r* wastes time on fighting mods and modding tools, that could be well spent on fighting cheats.
You might say r* is so stupid to mistake mods with cheats, but even if that's true, other idiots will, and they will make bad press for modding.

So FFS stop confusing cheating and modding. And just make a ticket instead of "trying to remove the dunce cap".

Third - I love the bs like "who even plays on PC..." - well everyone who has a brain and prefers a multi-tool with almost infinite capabilities, 'upgradability', isn't outdated in the day it's launched, doesn't require some unimportant company to approve patches etc., doesn't require some hilarious abonament/subscription, allows modding, works in any resolution, frame rate and configuration, supports external addons and most importantly doesn't slow the progress in game development because "Oh, this game can't have this capability because our useless toy can't handle that! And it can't for another 5--10 years, because that's it's lifetime!" (why do you think we can enter only a few buildings, why physics engine from gta4 was so flattened... - when do you see advancement in game technology - when old toys are retired and so called "next gen" takes over, though it could advance much further it those crap toys were just scrapped or PC and toy games would be separate, instead they are going the opposite way and releasing PC games on mobiles...) etc. But some still prefer to pay sh*tloads of money for useless baby toys (and their subscriptions) and play on those hilarious and hideous pads.

Yeah, my friend leocanetti (a PS3 buddy) already experienced this on LG. Just file a ticket, R* will clear it up for you, same goes for level and money (I've submitted multiple level tickets myself as I do still play on LG for fun, it usually takes 2 to 6 hours to clear up).

bad sport has not been removed from any platform. turning off bad sport points and insurance costs for blowing up vehicles is done by tunables. you have always been able to acquire bad sport points by leaving jobs early and being reported/kicked.

In theory it was removed for a short time removed/turned off it's the same thing as it was no longer in the game you're just nitpicking with words
