New gta 5 CD for ps4 - same level character with trophies ?

Hello i want to ask about new cd. I have lost my CD gta 5 . Now I want to buy new cd. If I buy new CD will I have the same character like before ? Im currently 86 level, I dont want to start from the beggining. With new CD will i continue same character ??

Yeah your GTA Online is saved to the Rockstar servers and in fact I believe even single player progress is saved on your console, so getting a new disk would be fine.

Um... Just so you know, NO PS4 game disc stores save game data. They can't. It's literally impossible. They're ROMS. "Read Only Media".

 

The save data, is either stored on the console hard disk or, as with GTA Online, stored in the game company's cloud servers to prevent cheating through editing/hacking of the data.

I've never heard of GTA V being stored on cd... I always thought ps4 used blu-ray discs....

Just saying if you buy it out of a different region your sp save data will not be able to load. So stick with PAL or NTSC and you're good to go. Online isn't region locked.

I'm having disc ejection issues and tried almost every fix ....but they all fail ....I'm considering getting the digital version of the game , I'm assuming my online won't be affected if I do , much like getting a new disc?

Wouldn't it be better to invest in a new PS4? I can't imagine how much it would cost to replace all your games at Sony store prices, and then you'd have a full hard drive (assuming you have a 500gb), and still have disc ejection problems to f*ck with any Blu-rays you're trying to watch. It's only the launch model that has these problems.

I hear you but Gta is the only game I have/ play ....so for me it's 450$ or 55$ canadian for the game ....and I don't watch blu rays on my ps4 .
