As soon as they get into a vehicle 9/10 they will start shooting the entire trip. Endless vibration and noise.

 

"Lose the Cops"? Shoot at the cops

 

Deliver aircraft to destination? Fly near the ground and try to 360 no scope random cars until you crash

The worst one for me is The Doomsday Scenario Finale in the Barrage on the way to

the place you drive the Barrage to, duh

 

 

For some reason I always end up with a minimum of two randoms firing grenade launcher and miniguns the entire journey. By far one of my least favourite things in this game.

Because passengers want to feel important, even when they are a passenger in an unarmed vehicle.

It's why for the most part I never let randoms ride in any of my vehicles.

The reckless shooting they do as passengers just causes npc traffic to be more erratic than usual.

This is an idea I've come up with for circumstances like this (or for dealing with anyone who is dumb enough to...fall....for it).

 

It's a bit complicated and requires specific items (Deluxo) and pre-request events (an unfinished heist with Lester prompt on your phone), but the payout should be worth it in the end. Step by step instructions follow:

 

1) Take your new "friend" to the closest airport/heliport and get in any 2+ passenger plane/chopper. If lucky, your friend will follow.

 

2) Fly far enough away to spawn a personal vehicle and jump out of the chopper, said "friend" should follow. THIS STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT!!

 

3) Call in your DeLuxo and let your "friend" in the passenger seat.

 

4) Fly to the ceiling (8,000 ft) and stop just over your high end apartment (anything with a window, the closer to the ground the better).

 

5) Set your personal vehicle settings to NO ONE and eject your new friend. If you followed step 2 above, he will not have a chute anymore and plummet to his death.

 

6) Open your phone and accept Lester's invite to resume the heist (be sure its the one for your apartment and not one that takes you to your bunker)

 

7) When you spawn in your apartment, exit the setup board, RUN to your window and look out for a falling dummy.

 

8) Laugh like a mad man as you watch your new "friend" spat on the ground outside your apartment.

 

Falling from 8,000 ft takes about a minute or so, more than time than it takes to spawn into the heist panning room under most circumstances anyway.

 

This will NOT​ work using a personal helicopter because he will be provided a chute. Only the DeLuxo will work because its the only vehicle capable of reaching the in game ceiling that does not auto equip a chute for every passenger.

 

You can't use your phone while free falling, so dummy shouldn't be able to Lester transport. His only options are to die or change sessions.

 

I've never really tried this but it would be interesting to see if it's possible.

I was annoyed by this behavior for the longest time but lately I find myself hoping that the next noob I so kindly take with me to the destination will be an obnoxious brain-dead neanderthal who will shoot at npc cars so the ride there is challenging zig-zagging on my bike also if I end up crashing they die most of the time so its a win-win.

We finally reach a point everyone can get into a heli. I take a moment to heal. Get a message telling me to "hurry up".

I run my own Heists. It's common to have people get on the mic or message for me to start the Heist already when they've been in the lobby under a minute.

 

I will kick you every time for this.

 

Unsurprisingly these are the same people who, like my first example, end up costing more time by rushing.
