Games for windows live can be a real pain in the ass, so I'm going to try my best to help you all with this service that is included with GTA IV and GTA EFLC First-time startup When GTA IV starts up you should see a screen like this Press enter, then it will take you to this screen Now you can either sign in to a Games for windows live account OR create a new LIVE profile Once you sign in it will download your profile, and you should see this If all goes well, you should be signed into live. Common Errors and Fixes Sometimes it does not go so smooth for windows live, so here are some common errors and the fixes Cannot connect to live/Disconnected from live When this occurs, there are many options to try and fix it, here are a few fixes. Verify game files on steam: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335 Download windows live client: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=201134 Re-install GTA IV I will be updating this post regularly with new information so stay tuned!
