What should be GTA 6's gimmick?

As we all know GTA 5's big gimmick and one of it's most talked about aspects was the three protagonists; Michael, Trevor and Franklin. Even though the 3 protagonists aspect of the game could have been done a LOT better and made the story feel sometimes lackluster and i felt, at times, the chemistry between them was sometimes off and a Mexican protagonist would have been better since it's L.A, for christ's sake.

 

So, let me cut straight to the chase: What should GTA 6's gimmick be?

 

1. Online-only, no single player (hopefully not)

2. Set in a whole COUNTRY? (cool idea, but i don't see it)

4. Four protagonists? (Three was messy, let alone 4)

5. VR? (eh maybe)

 

My idea was (i'm sure someone's mentioned it tho lol) what if it went full Saints Row and just let us customize our own single player character, from nose length to muscle to everything. Yeah, in San Andreas there was a lot of customizing but it was still CJ throughout. Yeah,Online had it, but it wasn't as in-depth as Saints Row or others; it would be cool to actually let the protagonist talk and have a personality.

 

You could develop the character's personality as the game goes on and as you play it more; maybe in the start, he (or she) is a bit soft when it comes to killing but as the game progresses and a few pedestrian rampages later the protagonist becomes more of a cold blooded killer and isn't against some really f*cked up missions given at him or her. Plus, the whole sex appeal, stamina, fat and muscle system from San Andreas should return but for it to not become annoying, there won't be missions where you have to lose fat or muscle or whatever to proceed with doing them.

 

That's my two cents anyway, what do you think?

 

 

(sorry for the long post but i wanted to go a bit in depth about my thoughts on this and sorry for the mistakes, if there were any, it's my first post and all. Hope this sparks some hopefully friendly discussions! :))

Drugs or running a criminal empire

 

Buy drugs in large quantities and sell them to other dealers/gangs around the city and build your network. Get betrayed by dealers/gangs trying to rip you off and the other cartels trying to kill you.

 

We got to be a Kingpin in VC, SA and VCS but once you got there that was at the end of the story. I'd like for us at least for a good chuck of the story be on top for a while like Ricardo Diaz was in VC.

Yep.

 

Rockstar could have implemented in GTA 5 with Trevor and his meth business but it's too good of an idea to not include it. Maybe it could also have this system where you could go settle debts and your guys call you about a debt like how Cesar used to call CJ about Smoke's guys transporting crack. You could go and settle the debt yourself or give it to your guys and if someone from your organization ratted you out you have to kill him or your empire level (or whatever) will fall. It would be a really fun addition, imo.

Must be in Single Player offline as well as Online MMO.

Can it be also a neat Mobile version for mob. gamers

Must have a solid story somewhat TPS/MMORPG revolving around main criminals like

Johnny Kleibitz, Tommy V., The Truth, Mike Toreno as Ur protagonists.

Most important of all the mobile edition GTAVI 3D universe.

Multiple cities (at least two), joinable by going to the airport to buy a ticket (or take a plane and fly to the second city). I think they could do 2 massives city with country sides for both. Even if there is a "loading time" when you reach a city, I wouldn't be bothered.

 

This would be a plus for GTAO by the way.

News stories about what you do in free roam as well as the story, for example if you kill a bunch of civilians you might hear something along the lines of "madman goes on murderous rampage", or if you steal a lot of cars you might hear something along the lines of "carjacking rates rising throughout the city."

Smaller map, but with much more things to do. Think "Yakuza", like, you can still have enough map space for skydiving, but, you know, also have casinos and arcades and nightclubs and bars, all functional, nearby.

 

Because at the end of the day, you can have the biggest map in the universe, but unless you're playing american truck simulator or flight simulator where the journey is the whole point, what's the point of having a giant commute between everything? And what's the damn point of having so many buildings that you can do f*ck all with?

More protags in V. How about more cities and countrysides in NEXT? I feel like that is the most logical step forward for the series.
