Original heists more popular than Doomsday heists?

So far, no one is worth my time.

Is that why you start sh*t with people and ignore them? Why????? If nobody is worth your time then why do you put yourself out there for them to begin with?

OT - Probably because the setups for the original heists aren't in public lobbies and it's less hassle?

^ That's only the preps in public lobbies. Setups for new Heists are still like the older Heists.

SuperJude™

45K per set up on Hard. 5 set ups.

60/40 or even 70/30 slot gets you near a million per run.

I do this with 2 people all the time but honestly I'm not sure messing with anybody under level 120 because so much of the finale is justice easier with the minigun.

The doomsday heists are exactly what i've always wanted from a GTAO dlc, story, nice new interiors, cut scenes, and the HERMES

Keep in mind that for the Doomsday heist you need at least 1 partner, for the original heists you need at least three, which encourages the hosts of the games to insist more strongly to find partners, I personally made the doomsday heists with only one friend in less than a week, to do the original heists I needed a minimum of one month.

Heist gameplay only works best as single player!

I've been saying this for ages since game release. R* seriously needs to consider allowing the heist leader to pick from a range of players aka from 1 (themselves to do the heist setup solo) to 4 (the original max heist team). That would give the heist leader the sandbox ability to customize how the could do predictable missions. But have better choice of succeeding in the heists because they can now cherry pick ppl they want.

Because seriously, every single setup mission for Pacific heist can be done by ONE SINGLE PLAYER.

  1. You only need 1 player to do that picture taking license plate & van theft for Lester
  2. You only need 1 player driving a regular Insurgent (& dropping it off at that point where those sea doos are under the bridge). Then taking one of the sea doos over to the island, do a wave 10 survival & rescue Avi in the boat. Drive Avi back to the Insurgent point and take the Insurgent to the final drop off
  3. And no, it doesn't take a gang of 4 motor bike thieves to steal the get away bike for pacific.

The only Pacific setup mission were you'd need 1 other person is the Hack & MW Convoy.

Hack you only need a team member to be decoy. So just someone who can competently drive AND shoot at the same time.

On Convoy, if you've beat every Survival to wave 10 to earn your $30k, you'd would know how to handle yourself in a NPC gunfight. And so you'd already know MW is predictably going to shoot at your ass with 100% accuracy. And that you can easily position/take out MW convoy from strategic places around the bridge in your 2 member team. Yes it's completely possible to do this setup with 2 ppl, but you need to work with COMPETENT ppl. 1 person drives the gunned Insurgent to chopper point ahead of the truck. Immediately takes out those 2 choppers that go after the truck. Both truck & Insurgent continue driving & only stopping for both drivers to get out & RPG any approaching/tailing MW spawn. Then continuing on the way. Did this on normal with myself & 1 other very competent remaining random. Had np arriving with the truck intact at the drop off.

And the Pacific final can be done with 2 members max. 1 person keeps lobby quiet. The 2nd takes out those 2 guards downstairs, hacks the vault, & places the charges. This way only ONE person has all the money, reducing the max amount and possiblity of money being lost to ONE person. Who btw, will remain IN THE BANK while the 2nd person runs the gauntlet to the bike point. 2nd person blows up the bikes to restart mission at bike checkpoint. Then both ppl jack a sports car & race to the boat at Mt. Chilliad. Or keep the bikes & go off road through the mountains etc. to keep off the heat. I've done this escape route countless times now (with and without money bag). Most I've ever lost was $1k on bikes and $0 if in a vehicle.

So yeah, Pacific is 100% possible with 2 ppl and this would give players the max payout split 50%.

Wish R* had enough foresight to change these setups to let the heist leader option to pick 1 - 4 man teams. Instead of being forced to play 4 man teams every f*cking time.I bet they'd have a record number ppl on the servers grinding like mad if they bothered changing the system to work like that.

Sentinel Driver

I find it easier to join a lobby of regular heists rather than a lobby of doomsday heists. Downside is that usually random regular heist hosters are noobs around the ranks of 20-40. Doomsday heists are much better money though mainly because you have to divide the cut between only two people rather than four. All the finales are easily doable with two people, even doomsday scenario

In my feed, I get about 3 times as many original heist invites than doomsday heist invites. Not sure why this is, because doomsday missions pay better and are quicker to get started, and not much harder then the old ones after you've done them a few times.

Or is it just that the host has to put out a lot more invites before they manage to get 4 players?

Are you sure? Doing the Doomsday Heists requires atleast 10 attempts to pass the Doomsday setups/finales so no, I just won't bother and don't wanna join randoms/low lvls their

Doomsday Heists. Joining the original heists is much better, more fun and it doesn't require atleast 10 attempts to pass them.

I only join friends their Doomsday heists.

10?

lol

i have 2 manned doomsday on normal with a lvl 27 our max deaths was like 4 on the finale.

and 4 on the juggernaught one aswwell because i forgot my explosive shotgun or kuruma.

tbh doomsday is easier with 2 people playing slowly as there's way less to go wrong, although the finale is way harder as there are too many enemies. f*ck the 2 man mastermind

f*ck it in its ass

Well, doing a handful of setups with original heists would land you the chance of being included in the Finale.

With DD heists doing setups would get you dumped before the Finale because the host then does it with their friend.

^I got dumped before the finale much more frequently in the Original Heists rather than the Dommsday ones. Probably because if a host in DD ones see that you're not a garbage heister, they'd much rather keep you along for the ride compared to the Originals. You know, tougher and more BS difficulty means you need the most reliable people anyway.

This is the reason I haven't bothered helping any or much for Setups.

Even though have been asked.
