chronic lumbago
Can't wait for it. It's good that they decided not to drag this story longer than they needed to and end it in the next season. Which reminds me, I still need to finish S3 for a 2nd time. I always did 2 playthroughs of telltale games. ddubz91, Ivan1997GTA and Jonesizzle

ddubz91
Damn, Clem has grown up so much! I really don't want this franchise to end, as I've fallen in love in playing her. I hope the ending gives us a bit of hope/peace for Clem, and ends the series on a high. Algonquin Assassin
Algonquin Assassin
Still remember when Clem was an innocent 8 year old and Lee looked out for her every step of the way. A New Frontier was a bit meh, but I'd like to play through the seasons again before the finale.
chronic lumbago
The demo was very good, I like that lonely feeling it gave. It's a nice contrast to the show: it's the late stage zombie apocalypse, the tv show/comic groups formed societies and fight wars against each other. Meanwhile the game goes back to that harsh survival feeling. I really like that. The pause menu music makes me feel nostalgic. I've hit that preorder. Might as well get those bonus avatars and theme, and have the entire TWD collection in one place, even though I own them all.
happygrowls
Just finished Episode 1, jesus what an ending. I got season one vibes for sure in this episode chronic lumbago and Jonesizzle

Jonesizzle
episode one was fantastic. It honestly took me a few tries to get used to the combat for some reason, but other than that it was on point. A little nervous to see what happens in the 2nd episode. this whole season is obviously leading to clementines death and god damnit I'm not ready for it. seriously sucks this is going to be the final season... I really hope Telltale isn't ditching TWD universe and just uses the "final season" tag as a goodbye to clem's story and a beginning to different stories ala "400 days" and the Michonne stories. This method of storytelling has way to much potential in TWD universe, imo. please don't look at this without slightly getting spoiled for episode 2 I also did a very stupid thing by glancing at the episode 2 achievements for the xbone and seen a "a old ghost" achievement, which leads me to believe a familiar face will show up... I'm assuming they will be alive, and not a literal ghost. So either Christa, Molly or Lily. will be interesting to find out. I think Telltale said pre-release that they aren't done with Walking Dead, but with Clem's story, which is summed of four seasons
chronic lumbago
I don't like the episode release deadline. They should take their time, not be forced to finish it on a specific day. I know they probably have some of the assets completed but still. ..unless they already finished them all. In that case, they could just release it as a complete game. Same thing is happening with the FC5 season pass. The DLCs are flawed. Edited August 16, 2018 by 1972

trip
The Telltale series is my only look into The Walking Dead. I've never seen an episode, read a comic, graphic novel...whatever. I totally love the series and I'm gonna hate to see it go. I haven't started this last series yet... I want to wait for when I'm less distracted by work and such so that I can totally pour into it. I'd recommend the comics over the TV Show, seeing as the comics are in the same universe as the video game, while the TV show has a continuity of it's own
GAUNTLET HELLFIRE
I hate to say anything negative about this series but I'm a bit disappointed with this season. The game itself is pretty enjoyable but I hate the collectables and missable achievements. I had no idea they were doing that with this season and I just played through normally enjoying the story but then I noticed everything I missed and I had to start the game again which isn't usually a problem but I haven't really liked it enough to replay it already. The worst part about that is if I don't want to replay every episode I have to look at a guide while playing and I won't be able to get into the game like I normally do with Telltale game plus I'm going to have a lot of stuff spoiled. I wish this game had chapters so I could play through the game with no distractions and then go back and play through very short chapters to get the collectable and missable achievements. Jerking For Soup
I really hope they don't rehash Season 1's ending with the roles flipped. The artwork and description certainly hints towards it.

happygrowls
With the unfortunate news of Telltale Games going under and closing down. Episode 2 will be the final episode of The Walking Dead. I'm honestly upset because we will never get the conclusion to the series we all know and loved. What a kick to the balls. I don't even know if it's worth bothering with episode 2 now. What's the point? It's like watching a TV series and having it cancelled a couple of episodes before the finale. Not happy at all. I don't care if I don't get my money back. I'm pissed off because the series won't get the conclusion it deserves. Ivan1997GTA, Shadowfennekin and Bratva Assassin
chronic lumbago
What. The. f*ck. Out of all the developers, why has it to be Telltale? It's a bad day for gaming. And so, The Final Season suddenly has a double meaning. Shadowfennekin and Ivan1997GTA

Algonquin Assassin
I just finished episode 1, but it left me with a hollow feeling. I mean I still want to play through episode 2, but I know it's not going to mean sh*t I've been playing video games the majority of my life and know that games have been cancelled before, but this feels different. I love this series more than the TV show and have bought every season since 2012, but now knowing it's going to effectively end on a masive cliff hanger is just simply heart breaking. Even the naming of episode 2 has a creepy/coincidental vibe in light of what's happened. Suffer The Children.
