lachmitch
I'm playing GTA V on an Xbox 360 and the story mode has been absolutely fine, however.... A while back I purchased a trial of gold xbox membership to play online. I have an external flash drive connected to my xbox which has the game downloaded on it and for some reason I was unable to download the DLC I was supposedly required to download in order to play. I contacted Rockstar and from memory I believe that I was told I needed an internal hard drive to play. I decided not to go buy one but recently upon researching I didn't find anyone with the same issue. Does anyone know if an internal hard drive is required to play online? Or is an external one fine? I've tried plugging it into the front of my xbox as opposed to the rear and I'm debating whether to purchase gold and see if it works. Thanks! lachmitch
I can't seem to download anything on there (I've tried demos as well) but the base game works fine on there??

Install the game on the XB itself

Install the game on the XB itself I don't have an internal hard drive, just the Xbox memory itself. When I open the hatch to access an internal hard drive there's nothing in there. Will I need to purchase an internal hard drive to download the updates?
LaBombaRomba
4gb 360? I know how it feels... I see you too are from Australia, imo you should look around Gumtree for either a hard drive to put in there or even a used ps3 (I got mine for only 50 AUD and it came with 2 controllers and a 500gb HDD, plus on another Gumtree ad i got around 10-20 games for only $20, including GTA V)
