If you see someone duping cars report them for exploits. If you see someone killing everyone in the lobby report them for griefing. You are reporting tons of players for what you believe to be a suspicious k/d. All youre doing is wasting rockstars time.

The point of the system is for legitimate reports not kids reporting players everytime they get killed or your suspicious k/ds. You even said you dont care if they are legit. Thats abuse. You should be reported for harassment.

while that k/d is obviously modded you should be easy on reporting 10+... i'm a 10.65 with no cheats...I'm just a puzzy sniper getting cheap kills while sitting on rooftops- I don't grief, just one kill and leave them alone, most don't bother me this way. That's why my kd is so high- It certainly doesn't reflect any skill, 99% of you guys would mop me up on the ground.. I wish I could disable that feature because people generally assume i'm awsum at this game because of it.

You plan to report people over simple K/D numbers. That's foolish and unnecessary. If you witness someone doing something gamebreaking like killing a lobby en masse or using nefarious mods then sure, by all means report them to the authorities. But if you're just looking at a number, making assumptions and reporting random people off of nothing but paranoia then that's neither fair nor respectable.

 

I'm glad you feel better at other players potential misfortune - getting banned and wiped - over nothing. You say there's nothing to fear if they're legit but that's not actually true. Rockstar support has shown time and time again that their disciplinary system is faulty and several honest players get caught in their nets. Hundreds if not thousands of legitimate players were recently subject to the full-weight of Rockstar's discipline and banhammer over faulty anti-cheat software. Are you willing to risk some innocent players gameplay over a possible false report? You intend to throw more people into the fire over things you can't prove. It's a shame you can't see the problem with that.

 

If you have proof of wrongdoing then go for it. But if not, just mind your own business. It's just a number.

When I see someone with K/d over 3 and dress like a nornal human I respect them...they seem highly skilled, but when I see a tryhard I automatically think he uses exploits in order to get that K/D or higher. It is possible but that dude probably just played as I think we all know from day 1. Pretty sad in my opinion.

Bullsh*t lol . I have a 25 kd no mods. On my other account my kd on ps4 alone is over 20 and I transferred over a year ago. There are still jet griefers with k/ds in the hundreds. You dont have to be modded to have a high kd, you just have to grief :oD

Agreed, 1 report won't do anything, besides you don't get banned by accumulation of reports.. it's just a flag for rockstar to check.. then if everything is alright, nothing will happen.

It's almost definitely modded. Hypothetically, the only way to achieve this most likely would be exploiting the hell out of the jet while bouncing in and out of passive as needed to keep from ever getting killed. (Would have been easier before the explosive sniper and other effective anti-jet toys were added.) You'd also have to be really careful about which lobby you chose to crap on - full ones with feisty players are always difficult, someone WILL find a way to kill you eventually.

 

For reference though, I knew a guy who had an alternate account that he intentionally used just to boost k/d to ridiculous levels. He griefed in the jet and went passive anytime he crashed or was about to get shot down. That account had a k/d in the 200s. Which is still absolutely insane, so to me, 2000s seems like it almost has to be modding. If it's not, that might be the saddest person on GTA Online.

That's so pathetic. I knew a someone who had a friend let them kill a different account over and over to get their KD up. Then they bragged to everyone about how proud they were to finally have a 2.0 KD lol.

Bullsh*t lol . I have a 25 kd no mods. On my other account my kd on ps4 alone is over 20 and I transferred over a year ago. There are still jet griefers with k/ds in the hundreds. You dont have to be modded to have a high kd, you just have to grief :oD

Well, you're not really breaking any rules that I know of. You're just getting the skins for weapons, and it tells you to kill players but it does not tell you not to kill your friends to get them so have at it.

Well, you're not really breaking any rules that I know of. You're just getting the skins for weapons, and it tells you to kill players but it does not tell you not to kill your friends to get them so have at it.Not necessarily mine since I only have a few skins unlocked from when I retaliated against a former box who was a notorious teamkiller. Just throwing a hypothesis someone may be at 2k legitly

 

That being said my I'd is like 2.4 because teamkilled...

I saw a level 509 GTA Online player with 2243.58 K/D today.

My questions are:

- is it even possible to have such a high K/D without using hacks or cheats?

- How do you even get to such a high amount of K/D ?

theoretically it's possible, of course. just kill with the avenger or something similar and leave as soon as there's a chance of death.

 

realistically it's modded though.

 

the kd ends in .xx so it's modded, they'd need a rediculous number of kills to have it that high and not end in .00 or .50

(I've read all your responses, but to save room, I'll just quote this crap to show who/what I mean, lol. So flawed).

 

You join a session and see 2.0+ and report them assuming they cheated. As, without seeing cheating (and killing, even pathetic stuff like EWO, isn't cheating this game - It's fully legal in here - Not that I particularly like it, but that's beside the point - It exists, can't be cheating, lol).

 

You join a session and see rank 8000 player and report them because it's universally known as fact, the rank you are reporting is, without exception, actually modded/cheated.

 

In one example, it's known fact you are dealing with a modded/cheaters account. Report is fully justified.

 

In the other example though, you actually know nothing what-so-ever. Just assume, I don't know, through fear or god knows what. Can't you see that?.

 

It's blatant trolling and abuse of the system. Unless you actively see cheats cheat, it's not cheating!. So simple, lol.

 

Now, combine your insecurities and fear of higher K/D's around you with the issues PC are facing, where, no-one knows why these automated bans are coming from. You see what I'm saying here?

 

We know their auto-ban thing makes mistakes. You say 'if your legit, you have nothing to worry about'. Completely comes undone by the facts that are known since Gunrunning at the minimum. They mistakenly ban innocent players. And you are looking to condemn potentially innocent players, the risks of banning grows with each.

Apologies for the 2.0/10 mistake. But it does little to alter my point.

 

Me, I simply don't play PvP. So I grind the awards for my account as I've no interest. At present, I have a 2.7 or something, but it really means nothing to me. (About 1500/500, don't look enough, lol, and really don't do enough to even fill these awards, kind of can't be bothered really. Keep trying/wanting too. It is boring, lol).

 

So, when I do get my tints, if I grinded them the quick way. I'm therefore to be considered a god mode cheat?. How in the blue hell does that make sense in a game where for years they've told us, and offer many gamemodes and incentives to crew/team up and co-operate out there too. Helping with unlocks is a big part of that for many to get equality in their groups and make things fairer, no to mention, open the game up more and more with options like free chrome wheels, etc. The actual K/D stat from all that means nothing to me. I'm PvE. Simple as that.

 

That's the beauty of this varied game. We can choose what we like, and if one favours killing over other gameplay offered, so long as there is no visible cheating, nothing wrong there.

 

Again, like with the 8000's, if you see known cheating first hand. Fair enough. But if you get beat, just move on to other matches/modes/players. Easy.

I just don't understand this whole proactive-reporting thing. First of all, it accomplishes very little. You have to realize that Rockstar is not manually reviewing player reports ever, because there are millions of them, so unless someone gets reported enough in combination with their other misbehavior to get tossed into bad sport, you're just pissing into the wind. And second, given that it accomplishes so little, why waste your time doing it to someone who isn't doing anything to you? If their k/d is boosted or outright fake, but they're not griefing you (or anyone) - or if their rank is blatantly boosted or modded - it still has no direct impact on your game experience. You're looking for something to get upset about, and then wasting energy reporting them to a corporate monolith that is ignoring your cries for help anyway. And it's completely misdirected energy. Even if you managed to get someone banned, he's one cheater out of many thousands. The root of the problem is the developer you're reporting them to, who can't keep a handle on their own game and stop this stuff from happening in the first place.

 

I do report people sometimes, but usually because they are using exploits in PvP against me or others in the session, or because they are griefing like madmen. My hope there is that others will report them for the same behavior and they'll end up in bad sport. But I have almost never reported someone playing normally, just because they were rank 8000 or had a k/d of 150. Not gonna waste my time.

Do it all right, still risking a ban anyway. Do it all wrong, equally risky. But probably get away clean, lol. None of it matters when a flawed system can't tell at times, lol.

 

So messed up. Only reported the folk that go via console to get nasty and persist with messages/pictures/following my sessions. All the rest is easy to ignore, avoid (for my playstyle), and actually can be very funny indeed to watch/listen too. All battling to score a cheap shot and be the first to cry foul, amazing, it honestly is.

 

It's as if there's an award for the quickest EWO at times. Hilarious.
