Can't change the game settings to DirectX 11

Hi everyone!

My GTA V settings can't change to DirectX 11. My PC Specs:

i5 2430M 2.40GHz

8GB of RAM

GT 525M video card

I tried every solution on Google, but no one helps me. Please help me. I'm running it on Windows 10 and needs DirectX 11

to fix texture pop-in issues.

I honestly don't think the game will be able to run on your computer with dx11.

 

And I don't think that is what will fix your poping texture issue.

Before the 1.43 patch, my game runs with DX11 just fine. After I install the new title update 1.43 patch, the game can't run on DX11 anymore. I tried to change it to DX11 and it says You must restart the game to apply the changes, I restarted the game and still stuck on DX10.

Hi, as a workaround:

 

Documents > Rockstar Games > GTA V > settings.xml (open with a text editor)

 

find line DX_Version value and change it to 2, save and try booting the game up.
