Am I? I don't know about other people, but I don't find competent players that I would let anywhere near my goddamn cargo. I do that sh*t myself so it gets done right. People are worthless.

Great when we can for sure, but a lot of waste if they are crap and get caught in squabbles. MC and bunker are better. Free supplies, if they make it, lol.

Just casual playing today (was absolutely nackared - I hate walking around IKEA ) and made 1,3ish million on crates with VIP Work between each collection.

 

Although I'm sitting comfortably on 125mil, when I get home from work tomorrow I am gonna collect so many crates, you could build LS out of wood

Kind of this. Hearing that this is the first time it's ever been double makes me tempted - but the whole thing is just so unbearable, I always regret it after I start it. I'm not sure I can stomach doing it again.

 

I do recommend everyone buys as many Hunters as possible though.

 

Meh meh and one for meh for good measure.

As people are still getting banned on PC, I defer to Quinn's wisdom as punishment for Rockstar.

Yesterday I did about 80 crates and did them all one at a time because I'm too cheap to pay the higher so that's a lot of damn grinding because I did headhunter to pay for the crates. But man, I pulled in some good money.

80 f*cking source missions? Jeez, you could've filled 2 large warehouses in that time with large shipments.

 

I just sold my large warehouse. That + about 6 small warehouse sales I've done since yesterday have gotten me some real good money.

I'd rather drop dead than do another crate mission. Every other business is fun to do, unless Post Op or Dune FAV happen

 

Nothing about crates is fun, it's an absolute f*cking bore. Watching paint dry would be more exciting

Well today feels a lot different to yesterday - I cannot get into crates as yesterday wore me out. I started this morning and done 15 crates then started getting a headache. Whilst it is a shame to let the double $$ pass especially with a good few days to go I think I may just finish off another medium warehouse and be done with it and take a 2 day break before next Tuesday whatever that may be.

 

With double $$ on crates (and before that on bunker) do we think something BIG is in the offing or are R* just being generous? Could we actually get double $$ on IE or MC next week? IE I can handle but do I really have to start up my MC stuff again and put up with f*cking post op vans and trash trucks?!

 

Finally gave in and bought the Ellie - I like it to be honest, sold my hot ring as will never use it and will never do those races again. I won't buy any supers as they are a total waste to me as I prefer to collect classics and muscle - will def get the Issi!

Do you know it's better financialy to steal 3 and pay more for them?

 

I don't get this 'do vip work to pay for the crates' thing. If you enjoy it, fine. But you are actually losing money if you spend less time stealing crates. It's like the owner of a store taking up a second job to pay for the stock. You'll make the money back and more when you sell.

Agree. Not only that whilst the profit on crates is enormous why waste time on MC stuff and IE etc? OK if you don't need money but in a good session you can fill a large warehouse in 6-8 hours no problem even over say 2 4 hour sessions. I alternate between large and medium so no cooldown in crate sourcing. Yes it's tedious but in 2-3 days you can earn $8m but no let's spend hours getting stock and selling coke for 420k! Idiots.

 

You can source a small warehouse (16) in an hour or 2 and sell for around 480k.

 

If you NEED money however boring crates are this is what you MUST WORK WITH while this event is on as the profit is enormous

After work, I sold a large warehouse, sold a full load of coke, then my crew mate and I dealt with another group of relative low levels (about 6 guys in the mid-100s) that had joined the session and had started crap. Dominated them and got them pissed off enough for the leader to wait in his Doomsday bunker with his finger on the orbital cannon button to get his first kill on me. I love when someone has to resort to the orbital strike. Did some Hotring races, winning a few small lobbies, then ending up 2nd with a bigger lobby and payoff than my wins. Watched a couple hours of TV, then stocked 21 crates before going to bed. Should be able to stock twice that amount of crates tonight, along with selling a bunker full of weapons. Damn, this is gonna be a good money week.

I certainly hope it's new properties (mansions?!) opening up for sale. I've been eyeing the houses on Lake Vinewood for the longest. Tired of trespassing to get a few nice pics.

A lively lobby is the best cure for grinder's blues. Had a great time yesterday contending with a pair of crewmates roaming the map in a Hunter and causing trouble all over. They only managed to kill one crate of mine, between OTR, Akula and some tactically placed bounties on low level players far away I was able to keep them off my back for the most part. Got good use out of my Stromberg getting out to a boat pickup and using the Vespucci Canal tunnel to get just outside the Derriere Lingerie warehouse for the drop off. Inevitably they ended up destroying a 4 member MC's meth sale which led to an orbital strike on their Hunter followed by an ongoing street battle that left the lobby more or less open for me to gather my goodies unopposed.

I'm in heaven with this double crate event hehe... Grinding like crazy again... Filled up my medium warehouse yesterday, sold it, then proceeded to refill it to 15 crates today. Large warehouse I'm at 51 crates today... And the day isn't over yet.

 

Real life is the only thing holding me back atm... Goal is to get my account back to its previous state (pre-current DLC)...

 

Bought the Ellie and Tez... I like both, although Ellie feels and performs very similar to my Rapid GT classic... Guess we're spoiled in the Muscle car department... Tez is great... I'll use it one hell of alot more than the X80 Proto.. I don't like that cars' handling at all... I do like its looks though... :-)
