Hate to say, but I've killed numerous members(maybe some exceptions) that were in TLG if I seen them, anywhere.

 

It all started when we were doing clash of the crews. They shot one of us in the back after a match when we returned to freeroam. Hell broke lose and we kept killing them because that's basically what most of us do..

 

Anytime I saw them in a lobby, I was killing them.

 

I haven't seen any of them in lobbies I've joined in such a long time.

I'm not in GTAF but I have a fair number of forum members on my friends list from past grinding events. Sadly I don't run into them ever, they all play auto aim and I'm in free 99% of the time.

 

Why is GTAF closed to new members?

Problem with it being a forum crew, anyone was able to join. After some consideration due to recent events at that time, it was closed and over 300 people were kicked.

 

I imagine if you wanted in and showed the initiative to be apart of it, not join just to kill us or something..you'll get invited.

 

I'm not that high up in it to be making any claims though(don't let the pip fool you), just speculative and assumptions.

 

Majority of us are on PS4 though.

 

Not sure how often crew events will happen due to the games lifetime now and with RDR2 over the horizon, some have grown out of it and are playing other games, occasionally popping by. Some of us are just in freeroam doing whatever.

 

We have a social thread in Crews section, pinned at the top, by the way.

No one ever said it was full, it's just closed for recruitment.

 

We do have members who don't really use the forum much but are active in the game..and you'd be surprised.. a lot of VANS, PBMO and the sorts are in GTAF Crew, it's just not their primary when playing.

There's also GTAForums Allstars who use "GTAF", but they're dead now..we don't talk about that.

GTAF is also a French crew.

 

I quit yer actual GTAF because of the 5 or 6 people I ran into 4 or 5 would travel halfway across the map to kill me.. Everyone's a critic.

Can't speak for everyone who was/is in it but I don't do that stuff. Mostly any of the more active members know better, we've had people "fresh off the boat" inquire an invite who didn't get that memo, I suppose..which led them to do what they have.

 

It is a forum crew afterall, much like here, there can be trolls.

 

You'd be surprised though if you got into the right lobby with myself(or anyone more well known), of the sh*t you'd be able to accomplish in freeroam, whatever your taste may be. Be it from taking over lobbies to doing work.

I thought being a part of the gtaf crew would be enough for me to just randomly jump into a crew session to play with like minded players. I can never find any sessions at all. And my work schedule is too weird to be able to play with people who i would normally add.

That's because they're always taking over other public lobbies. These so called crew sessions spring up every now and then but mostly when an update is about to come and then a week or so after it's been out.

When i see it.

Never seen anyone with Tab "GTAF".

I would run into more GTAF members if it was listed on the Suggested Crews tab. Instead there's garbage like IGN and several GameStop named crews.
