Cooldown period on IE (What happened last night)

So I decided to sell some cars last night as they had been laying dormant for ages in my warehouse. I don't need the money but had some time to kill so with friends we decided to concentrate on IE for a while.

 

Unfortunately we did not video it but something weird happened. I sold 4 cars, then 3 other friends sold 4 of theirs. One of my friends said someone else on his friends list said there was no cooldown so after say 10-15 mins of each doing each others I was able to go back to my warehouse and sell another 4 (usually 20 mins per car cooldown?)

 

Anyway, to cut a long story short, we swapped CEO's a few times and I sold 16 cars (4x 4 times) literally one after the other with little or no cooldown as did my friends. Once we done this we completed a heist finale one of my friends had and went back to IE but the cooldown was back to normal and we could not sell - perhaps we should have simply emptied our warehouses whilst this was happening.

 

I wonder if my account (and friends) will now be 'corrected' or I will be flagged for something I took advantage of but wasn't any cheat.

 

So to sum up I sold 16 cars (all ranges from top to bottom) as 4x4 car sales literally one set after the other with no cooldown (timer at 00.00)

 

Has this happened before? (XB1 btw)

There's a 50 minute cool down on the CEO for selling 4 I\E cars in one go. You have to spend 50 minutes in free roam to make the cool down ends.

 

You & your 3 friends have a 50 minutes cool down for each one of you. You can help sell someone else's I\E cars during the cool down, but not your own.

That's how it normally works. He's saying that he somehow had a glitched lobby with no cooldown.

Well yea. I thought he said he sold 16 in total. 4 for him & 4 for each one of his friends.

 

If he sold 16 cars for himself without a cooldown, it was obviously a glitched session.

Haven't had that, but I have had it stop me from confirming the sale, right before you go in to customize. Kept stopping and locking up. Pressing Pause kicked it back out to sitting at the desk. Thus happened once several months ago and again on Friday.

 

Also, I had bunker sales glitch too. Was trying to sell and didn't want to do the 3 green insurgents during my half hour lunch break so I restarted the game to get the different delivery method. 4 times I got the same one and my stock value didn't change. Went to normal eventually.

Yea I've had that before. It happens when the game can't connect to R* servers.

 

It also happens when you try to sell a car via LSC, Sell crates or a bunker & the game can't connect to the server.
