Does anyone with high rank ever get bored of this game?

And dare I say it, Adversary Modes.

 

If youre bored I dont know what to tell you. Grinding is not mandatory and if you opt for variety in your play style you can literally change what type of game youre playing by the hour if you want.

 

Now if youre bored of grinding for cash well I hate to tell you this but youre doing it wrong. You dont need every car, plane or meme vehicle. A little research and patience will help you decide what you want/need and MOST items can be obtainied with 2 million GTA$. Thats a couple hours of dedicated play. And almost everything goes on sale if you wait a month. Ive saved literal millions by buying only on sale.

 

So no, Im not bored. And even when Im not doing any of the aforementioned activities above, the freedom to drive, fly, bike, run, swim, dive or simply walk to every crevice and crannie I want to is enough to entertain me for hours. Ive lost countless hours purposely damaging planes, flying them as high as they can and waiting for the damage to finally kill the engine. Then I try to land the plane safely...HOURS of my life doing that in every plane I can...ifvthis game bores you, well, Im not sure there are many that wouldnt

^^ Seconded, in almost every point (I'm not into PvP battles and very seldom join public lobbies at all). Especially the flying bit. Don't know how often I purposefully demolished the Buzzard on the second Sightseer stop in order to come in as hot as possible on the third.

 

On the action side of things, once you let go of the need to grind for max $/hour, it can be really fun to experiment with the many ways of tackling CEO or contact missions - but that's probably only for me since I indeed am mediocre a player enough to still fail certain contact missions. Wonder if a high level, professional player still get kicks out of contact mission solos?

Rank 973 here (legit of course) and I still find ways to keep myself interested in this game.

 

 

Yes i do know there are interesting things in GTAO even if you are rank 400 but i don't know anymore, i just dont like feeling like im Tony Montana, i mean i had a garage filled with cars and sh*t, but then i felt like i worked hard for this but was still bored.

I am definitly not bored of the game itself but of the map.

It's a bit boring for me if you can not discover anything new and in the meantime I know every corner in LS.

The same was with GTA IV. I played it online from the first day till the release of GTA V.

I also got bored of the map in the end, but not of the game itself.

After doomsday heist I started doing sightseer by actually driving to the locations instead of using my hydra so now I actually use all the cars I buy.

It also made the game feel fresh and I really enjoy the driving.

I even enjoy grinding for money by doing I/E jobs. Well technically it isn't grinding because I enjoy it.

 

Right now I have 33 million so I can just take it easy, buy all the new cars I like and wait for the new transform races to drop.

Sure i get bored that`s why im not playing it very much lately still have 136 million and got all garages full, all businesses that you can buy etc.

 

Waiting for new content now i just start the game every tuesday to buy the new stuff and test it out then i go play other games again.

Great post, one I can easily relate to myself here. Great times, plodding, enjoying the game. All the while, the bank just fills and the toys keep coming.

 

As I have many full garages and am in need of more, and with some folk misunderstanding why I want so many cars. The part I highlighted should really be read again by some, lol.

I would say that i´m still not bored of GTAO ! although I´m not really enjoying the new DLC , I´m glad that we get updates on a regular basis , and there will always be some goodies (new cars) that I´ll enjoy !

I´m lvl 600 btw , playing regularly on PC for more than 2 years now ... but I may move to my second character once I reach lvl1000 or something ...

I'm level 750+ been playing since summer 14. Iv just retired from grinding, £50m in the bank. Currently playing AC origins and hitman from 2 years ago.

 

Only come back for weeks where it's easy to make money on bunker or cars. Buy the latest cars and then just chill if I do need up staying online.

 

I do still enjoy playing, doing executive search without having to worry about the consequences is pretty good now and you can be more daring.

 

Being a high rank can mean the try heads wanna have a crack but I just switch sessions as I'm not a fighter

 

So yeh all in all I still play now but not marathon daily sessions like I was bring on GTA online 2.0

I'm rank 500, and I'm pretty much losing all interest in the game.

 

I'm trying to unlock the gold statue in my CEO office, but after that, I think I'm going to become pretty lost. I have everything; the game is losing value because of all the tryhards and cheaters, I'm lost at this point.

Yes, mostly because I miss days of racing with nearly equal cars, pvp freemode without bst, ewo and bp gear. It's becomes boring one day when you not so noob, but too lazy to use all of the features that at the end all give the same result if they were never been there. Nowadays it seems nobody want to play, all what people need is being comfort and guarded, be it Khanjali or even passive mode or otr. From where competition or gambling comes, 90% will end abandoned or overwhelmed.

It would probably take about 6 months of no updates for me to get bored...I start to feel less of an urge to play about a month or 2 after an update drops,depending on how I like the update.

 

I'd never want to delete my main character but my 2nd character is quite disposable.

No. Not really.

The only thing that makes me not want to play are the degenerates who aim to ruin the experience for others because they're miserable sacks of **** in real life.

Everything about the game is awesome, except for the losers who hang out in free mode and harass everyone.

it's only because of the degenerate free mode troll draw that this game isn't bliss to play. If people would actually do jobs and playlists and enjoy all of the awesome modes this game has to offer, it'd still be the best game to play.

Got four accounts for online. Only been using my main to hit level 400. Yes I get bored and take a break but always check my stats, jobs and achievements to see what I need to complete.

I have been playing gta since launch through the good ol wild billionaire glitch days to these SHARK card FRENZY (you want it, you use real coin to get it) days. This game is after all about the vehicles & driving. I have stayed "true to my roots" & only focused on that aspect. With a vast sexy collection across two characters & plenty of inspiring car meets..I live a virtual Jay Leno life. When in doubt, cruise it out.

I personally havent gotten bored plus I put in way too many real life hours to just up and delete my character out of boredom. I'm only level 216 never done glitches or exploits so there is still a sh*t ton of stuff I want to buy. Have you looked up different role play groups?
