Does anyone with high rank ever get bored of this game?

Hello, i was thinking about this, i had my legit rank 127 character and i deleted him because the game just didn't feel new anymore, i was doing same things time and time again, the i decided i should delete my character, so i did it and now i have more fun in this game, it's as if it was new! Do you people get bored with GTAO?

Level 763/400+ here (modded) I do the same things as my legit level 126/121 and my legit level 37/2.i get board cause I did mostly everything already (gameplay wise)

Got bored almost as soon as i ended roleplaying. But atleast it's a good platform for screenshots.

I get bored but always come back and check in. It goes in spurts for me, I keep up on when the new big DLC's come out, or if there's a tempting double money week for certain businesses lol. Level 435 and have $100M so sometimes I just get on to screw around.

I have a low-level character cut off from Courtney's resources and it can be a fun way to play here and there but for the most part, if I'm bored of playing with all of the toys I've gathered over the years, then I'm just bored of GTAO in general and take a break until I feel that old itch again and come back to a game that feels fresh.

Got a combined rp of like 47 million. I get bored a lot, mostly because r* hasn't added gameplay that suits players like me. Then I tell myself, "hey, go change the color of your car." and I find myself playing again.

Very hard to get bored in such a varied and active game. I enjoy variety here so time alone, with friends, or with/against randoms.

 

Plus building up my car/vehicle collections too, always enjoyable to hit a goal.

 

I must say, well done on getting all trophies, awards, unlocks, and that last armour vest, all by rank 127. I bow down to you sir/madam.

Got two very high level characters on my main account (872, and 706) with around $161million. Made a 2nd account to start anew and now I've got a rank 106 and a rank 99 and around $2.6million. So yes, being high level gets boring.

I just muck about. And race. When Im bored I just make videos, to camp 80s post-disco tracks.

legit 1000+ yes i get bored but i would imagine i will get x10 times more bored if i had to start a new account or even a second character, lester's "come do this heist" messages again? win 50 races to unlock engine upgrade again? I'd rather just delete the game at this point lol i have 3 years worth of grind to help repel the boredom, driving a different vehicle every day and what not

 

edit: ^ nice vid, you can skip the nerf in the tunnel and the last two ramps for a better time tho

350 level on 1st with like everything accomplished (90% of my ingame goals). I feel bored with him.

 

Now I made a new female char, to feel the game from that perspective, and I also bought some things I would never do in the first place: like zancudo facility and bunker, and DOCKS COKE LAB and elysian vw. It feels refreshing... And in this moment, I only feel that docks coke is a bad move, but that personal aircraft spawn almost in front of lab draws me away from changing it to the moorningwood one... And of course, I am not making the same mistakes I did on 1st... like buying max garages/apps, ALL WEAPONS -.-'''' ... and unecassary things (apc, half track, rogue.... and all others vehicles that I used like... 3 times.. for griefing XD )

I feel this game is not for you mate.. i'm level 720 with everything that matters bought, and 60m to spare.. i just log in to help my crewmates and or mess around waiting for the next dlc.. if no more dlcs were to come then for sure i would leave the game entirely.

Played since October 2013, pumped 993 hours into GTAO across PS3/4, Rank 227, got bored around the Gunrunning update, traded the game in not long after.

 

While I enjoyed the time spent with the game, I didn't like the way freemode was being turned into a OTT warzone (even compared to the days of old with indestructible tanks and jet griefers).

 

Roll on RDR2 and Red Dead Online.

Yeah I get bored. And frustrated. I took basically a six month break where I played very little (and for a few months, not at all). Lately I've been playing a lot again, but with this new update being very uninteresting I'll probably be laying off for a while again, and playing some other games instead. I've reached a point where it's mainly new content that excites me.

I really can't see anyone getting bored with GTA unless they're uncreative/unimaginative. I spend most of my time proving my skills AS a high level playing survivals, or anything else that pits me against uneven odds. I invite people to see who's the better tactician/player, most of my money goes into appearances however.

 

I don't know. I record videos, I dress up, I play my character different ways, I just don't know what boredom is or how to find it. Maybe I play the character, and not just the game. Or developed them to the point where their storyline overlaps the game I'm playing. I'd say a new way to spice up the game is get into recording, making videos with stories, and dressing up. It gives me something to do, however I hate editing.

Free roam is always a surprise so that never gets old.

 

Doing heists is still fun for me (even the old one's) they are only frustrating.

 

as for the little racing i do,they are fun in general just don't expect to have a clean run.

 

custom LTS are always a Nice time but the trolls can be a bummer.

 

So in the end it comes down to spending time in different modes to keep things fresh.

 

at 127 you realy can't be bored yet unless you only do the same stuff without playing other modes.

People should stop taking this game as some sort of clown who is here just to entertain them.

The game is a tool. Be creative. Use it in a right way and you don't get bored.

Yes, but taking breaks and spicing things up with friends can help some.

It's a tiresome game if you only play the grind.
