Ghost organization: when does it NOT work?

Theoretically, whenever it's available as an option (regardless what you're doing in-game, whether CEO or VIP work, etc.) ghost organization should take you off the radar.

 

Is that correct?

 

I ask, as I used Ghost Organization to finish a Sightseer job (hopped into a generic NPC car, and drove slow like an NPC would, thinking I was hidden among the other NPCs), but got pin-pointed and starfed by a guy in a Lazer who said that "Ghost org doesn't work when you're a VIP").

I don't think it works on that one, the only way other players can take part is to kill you. On headhunter, if you're ghosted, players can still protect the targets, so it works.

 

Iirc ghost works with all business work, but off the radar doesn't if you are holding stock or supplies.

On PC I believe there's some kind of glitch where any OTR method activated doesn't work due to lag or something. I remember someone else on the forum talking about that.

I think there is a free mode event that stops it from working, but it disables it. Actually I think it's an mc work that disables it?
