Thinking about it this feature will probably do more harm to innocent players rather than the tryhards it is meant for.

Every innocent passing heli that gets shot with a homing missile or sniper and ewo to save himself will be penalized.

Every passing car that takes bullets and ewos to save himself will be penalized.

Every noob trying to save himself from being griefed by tryhards will be penalized.

If you kill yourself to avoid a death by another player, you deserve to be penalized. The action itself is the problem as much as the tryhards who do it constantly. Ask yourself this: if you're not a tryhard, why do you care if someone else gets one kill on you? It's not like taking the EWO in those situations will magically teleport you away and protect you from griefing - no matter how you die, as soon as you respawn you're f*cked anyway. If you want protection, you should go passive to begin with. Or just stay away from other players you don't know.

 

Tryhards who do this constantly bother me the most, true. But anyone killing themselves to avoid dying by another player's hands is performing the exact same exploit on a smaller scale. I don't mind if they get punished. If they were really so innocent, they'd just take their lumps.

They'll EWO, see their K/D affected adversely and... probably just decide to grief more/harder in freeroam to make up for it? idk as far as I'm concerned PvP in this game is a lost cause.

I don't get really irritated with try-hards, whether or not they're in jets or a tank.

But suiciders have no place in this game. These suicide queens are not worthy of being called try-hards. Because they are garbage at this game. Killing yourself means you are garbage. Period.

I could get spawn killed with rockets for hours and not feel one shred of anger ---- but if a mother f*cker kills himself to avoid me killing him --------------

It's not acceptable to kill yourself while driving by someone in a car just because they're shooting at you to kill you. That's beyond pathetic. Anybody who does that is a f****** joke and shouldn't even be allowed to play this game.

Because it doesnt really change anything. Youre still gonna get griefed by tryhards. This wont stop them, hasnt stopped me from jet griefing.

I think the only real solution to this problem is:

 

1. Your own weapons cannot kill you.

 

and

 

2. Remove EWO entirely.

I recently played in free aim and stickies on a car are such a easy thing. I almost had to force myself to stop. I am not that creative with stickies but changing the ability to blow yourself up, seems like a-whole-nother can of worms, and would probably do more harm than good. I'm in 2 communities on ps4 were you find like minded players to help you sell CEO, MC stuff and what not. Just yesterday and today did a few try hard players post in these communities saying corny stuff like "psa: all crates and supplies will be automatically targeted due to EWO update" and just basically arguing with everyone about how "we" messed up by complaining about the "tryhard, RnG, PvP" community. I love it..
