Certain stuff you buy in game helps you make money faster.. You always end up profiting with every purchase eventually. Then buy something that will make you earn that profit faster. For PvP, if I am getting my ass kicked I retreat so I don't waste a sh*t load of resources same goes for greifers. I am a peaceful player amd really just focus on money grinding for role play stuff like street races, and military style role plays in closed lobbies. You got to find people who play the same way you do so you dont get burnt out.

Two factors

1. I had a little over a year break of GTA because I originally played on the PS4 but didn't want to bother with Plus any more. Now I play on PC.

2. I was logging on Online but then I went to the bathroom, came back and saw that modders were in the server, and they gave away a sh*t ton of money while I was gone. Not gonna lie, but if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't be playing GTA any more. I already did the heavy grind once, I wasn't gonna do it again. I was actually close to just saying "f*ck it" and only really playing V for SP modding,

The whole game is grinding for cash to buy stuff you really don't need.

Then you get in a pvp battle and spend all your cash on ammo and insurance..

I don't get it.

i spend hours in the akula blowing other people private vehicles and dont spend a dime. then i switch to a solo lobby and sell my sh!t in peace :p

get it?

Take breaks. After grinding pretty hard taking advantage of bonus/double money on certain activities (stuff I also tend to like doing) several times over the last couple of months, I've taken the last couple weeks pretty easy, playing other games and doing the occassional Hotring race. Double $$$$$ on crates has me grinding for this week as I try to push my account past $125 mil. Next week, we'll see what sorts of bonus money (if any) will be offered. Might be time to get back on the Shadow of the Colossus remake, or one of the dozen or so other games that have been ignored while I play the video game crack that GTAO, Star Trek Online, and Skyrim have been for the last several years.

THIS! Especially with something challenging, like my decked-out Rumpo Custom.

Something has changed for me in the last month or so.

As I've said a few times here, I've grinded my ass off since I started playing in June of last year. I've been living paycheck to paycheck, so to speak; want a new car? Go grind for it. Deluxo? Yup, grind for it.

I've struggled to keep a million in the bank.

This last 2x on bunker sales put me over 10 million in the bank. I've since gotten it up to over 18 million, even after at least 2 large purchases.

And I havent been feeling grindy. At all.

Now that I'm not afraid to sell more than one supply bar full of bunker stock at a time I find myself outside more; playing with randoms, helping CEOs, racing, griefing griefers, etc instead of just working.

I do a large sale about once a day now and maybe 3 high end car sales with resupplies to keep stock up.

Another strange thing is now I find myself wanting to be in full lobbies instead of NATd ones. To the point I almost dread NATing for the big 10 minute long sale because I know it will be difficult to find another populated lobbie.

I look forward to the challenge of delivering a car in a crowded lobbie now.

Bottom line I guess, at least for n00bs wondering if it's worth it... Yes, gringing can be worth it in the long run. Just be sure to spend on things that will help you get money easier.

I didn't make quite what you made in bunker sales, but I did well for the time invested. I'm going to sell two warehouses or more this week and do even better, but I haven't really been using my cargo otherwise. I have been occasionally selling my bunker, but mostly I make great money in freemode lobbies. I love doing challenges. I do my daily objectives when I can as well. Headhunter, Sightseer. That's a constant revenue.

I went to bed with full stock and was AFK while sleeping.

I got up in the morning and sold before work then restocked and was AFK while working.

I came home for lunch and sold then restocked and was AFK as I went back to work.

I got home from work and restocked then played for a few hours then sold and restocked again, going AFK while I slept.

Did this every work day then played 5 to 10 hours each day throughout the weekend ( not in a row of course)

Was a good run but felt grindy. Now that I'm ahead I plan to try and stay that way via smart purchases.

I must say, after 4500 Hours on my main account, I'm f*cking burnt out, I can't anymore play for long, oh yeah, I tried to fill that large warehouse this evening because of the 2x event. But after like 3 missions and two VIP jobs, I was feeling empty. I just logged off and watched The Terror episode 2 saison 1.

I can't seem to stomach crates anymore either. Only thing keeping me going is that rank 1000 lol. Even sourcing one crate at a time for each of my five warehouses feels grindy.

Good thing is I'll get 30k rp for selling all five.

Just take a break from the game altogether. I did so too, playing other games and come back after a couple of weeks or months. Game feels fresh after a longer break.

1476 done, last 24 this week. Done!.

Great way to end though, leaving 5 for the occasional special that pops up without it going over 1500, lol.

Be about $9m off these. Plus MC and the heists/bits between. Not even close to a chore. ;)

I came on this morning to wirte this as well

Did 9 crates in 2 different warehouses last night and man its such a grind. I had forgotten how boring the flying back and forth from CEO to crates to warehouse. The last mission I got was the plane crash mission and I completed it sold both warehouses and I won't be doing again ever.

Even whilst driving the Ellie it feels like a grind going back and forth lol. Flying is probably even worse.

I'm certainly happy there's a bonus on crates, I just can't seem to do anymore though. Just shy of 1600 collections now.

Yeah sure ive been burnt out grinding before. Its a hustle doing it legit but its easier over on the darkside. Its more movitvation for me. Due to real life sh!t going on (getting married) I cant be arsed with grinding or just in general. Plus grinding for the new content is pointless for me atm. Just my imo.

It's not worth the trouble, take a break. I used to tank at least 6 IE cars per day, selling and sourcing, but I can't really do it now. Sold my first cars in a month today with assistance of my mates and can't be arsed to source them back. But I did some contact missions with new toys and that was pure fun: mk2 weapons with incendiary, AA trailer, new Ellie.

Exactly this, crates kill me (As i said on the B&M thread) and I/E is the money maker for me. Personally, I have fun with I/E. I love driving in this game, and since I only source the high end cars I like to drive it's made it much better.

But contact missions are where I go to really have fun. I never got into PvP, always been a single player kinda guy. I enjoy restricting myself to specific weapons, generally the new MKII pump action and the MKII Pistol for their sound. They're not the best in class, and it really makes you get good with head shots. Finding strategic cover, using stealth when available, it really helps me have fun these days. Finishing something like deal breaker with just a pistol and realizing the enemy never got a hit on me is something I'll never get tired of.
