That red text about how the forums no longer supports certain characters, could you change the color on that? It's not important to existing members, but I remember when I registered and was reading that text, it seriously played around with my eyes.

 

It's really not easy to read on the blue background. It has this kind of piercing effect on the eyes, at least for me it does. Just something minor, but I can tell new members could get an eye sore trying to read that.

Maybe adjust your monitor the brightness might be too high because it's very ready to read for me as the background color is a deep blue almost Navy Blue maybe a little darker

My brightness is fine for everything else, it's just that text above does give me eye strain (The color being used).

 

I guess everyone has different eyes anyway, but for me, it's a strain to read that.

But seriously, next time you see a hard to read text, just select it with your mouse, or with Ctrl+A. Blue text specifically can be quite hard to read here

That's a neat trick of getting around it for me

 

I think maybe it has something to do with me using a liquid-crystal display (Which is common for Laptop users). The way the screen renders the contrast between the two colors causes that hard visual depth for me.
