Yeah, that's pretty shmexy DAMMIT. A shame the Yosemite doesn't have liveries like that..

Oh yeah, the new cars STILL feel like crap and are totally bumming me out.

It has literally that exact livery.

So the Tezeract and Tyrant will both be over 2 seconds behind the Vagner on lap times? I'm sorry, but the Tez will be the most expensive car in the game and it should be good all-around, at least within a second of the Vagner, which costs half as much. Another rip off coming.

As you say it doesn't need to be the fastest car in game but it should be competitive at least

and the Tyrant is going to be roughly 3 seconds slower on Broughy1322's test track than it would be without the handling flags...

and the Tyrant is going to be roughly 3 seconds slower on Broughy1322's test track than it would be without the handling flags...Would it be possible for them to do some adjustments on the handling flags so it could be on par with the Vagner instead of one second faster without them?

The Tez doesnt have that much traction, and the downforce value is low.

Why does every single car in this update have laughable downforce values, except for the tyrant? Why bother with a downforce-themed update, if they are all rubbish at it?

 

Tbf, the vagner is just a completely op car though, nothing can currently compete with it.

Rockstar does not intend to fix this issue, period. I'm not kidding in the least. It's not even on their radar.

If people don't buy the new cars it'll get their attention.

It's not a money glitch so it won't get fixed any time soon.

 

Don't people the try them out in creator before buying them?

If Rockstar dont remove the new handling flags, i will take that as a sign they will use those for future updates as well.

If that happens, i will probably not buy a single new car over a certain price in the future.

I was trying to keep neutral on this but yea it's a nasty bug.

 

If anything they have done a good job at simulating clutch slip, really feels like cars have a worn clutch......

 

Hope it gets fixed and not implemented to everything

I'm just forcing myself to drive the older cars, maybe stuff I haven't driven in a while. The new cars were triggering me so hard that it actually ruined a day or so of my actual life... had to remind myself, it's just a game bruh.

 

Needless to say, it's still a massive let down.

Ding ding, we don't know if they even consider it a problem. For all we know this is fully intended behavior of the new cars. Maybe they've discovered that actual performance doesn't have any impact on sales.

Consider yourself lucky if it only ruined one day of your life, I still haven't gotten over the whole thing ;)

After driving the Ellie around last night it feels like what they are trying to do is make the cars drive more realistic....if you hit a bump or curb they want the car to slow down instead of gaining speed like the older cars do...but I don't think they know "how' to do it so either the car engine stalls or it gets caught in gear when shifting which is intended but the severity needs a tweaking and needs to be adjusted

I am pretty sure all of this was just so they could fix the speed glitch with the Viseris. Highly doubt they care about making anything "realistic", especially after 5 years and constant imaginary fantasy land racing updates with tubes and ramps in the sky.

 

This seems to simply be a mistake imo. Someone copy/pasted the wrong attributes to all the new cars instead of just the Viseris.

 

They shouldn't have done anything at all. That car was fine and not OP in any situation.

I'm done buying cars for the time being. I'll enjoy the pre-nerf pariah while it lasts. Really though, I just want to go fast. I'd also like a full refund on every car that has been nerfed since its release. What a scam!

Fun fact: If you bought a car before it got nerfed (such as the Rhino Tank or RE-7B or Viseris), you can absolutely ask R* Support for a refund because the car you own is now no longer the car you bought

Yeah but didn't the Viseris bug appear before with the Benny's Banshee and get fixed without having to introduce these flags? Edited by Cypher617

I think some intern accidentally applied the "fix" to all the cars in this update instead of just the Viseris.

 

I very much doubt they are gonna change the rest of the cars to match, that would be madness.

The Banshee 900R doesn't have a speed glitch. The 811 has a similar broken suspension to the Viseris (formerly) if that's what you mean

Your right I knew it was something with the Banshee I couldn't remember what it was but here's where it gets interesting....how they fixed the Banshee was by giving it the suspension compression bug to make it go faster which is the bug that made made the Viseris so fast and then took away...had to go back to Broughys old video on the Banshee to figure it out

iirc the Banshee 900R was just weak and badly designed when it was released, then people complained a lot, then they changed its engine upgrades to give the car a higher top speed

So wait what? It was to slow, then to fast, now it's just right? Rockstar on some Goldilocks ish...well if they can fix a car three times then there's hope for the new ones...I guess
