The_GTA
So I have been employed for some months now as network admin in a little company located in Germany. The job has been great in the beginning. Like when I was responsible for the (old) website my job was to give it a good renovation to make it PHP5.6 compatible, fix security flaws, etc. But here is a little monologue about the dark side of Industry 4.0 (a thing considered cool in Germany). In my experience it is reselling your business power to 3rd party companies, like IT/networking. If you are the boss what happens is that you give up being a boss, partially at first but potentially completely. You could guess that I got a lot of insight because my job intersected with the duty of that certain company. Though believe me they act like a mafia, changing passwords as they wish, covering their tracks. The cool kids call it "business logic". Why would you need a real IT expert inside of the company anyway? To conclude my train of thought, I warn everyone of you, do not put 3rd party companies above your faithful employees. - Martin
