Crashing after new updates

Did now everything.
+ remove everything (new installed)

+ New Visual Version c++

+ New GPU Driver

+ appdata folder + everything of gta on the pc
+ Registry cleaning of everything (cache etc)

+ Router restart

 

If this doesn't help, we are f*cked ^^

 

Time to download :D

what's with this?

 

 

ok, i think its solved. good job rockstar... if u added to windows host file something like this: 127.0.0.1 prod.telemetry.ros.rockstargames.com, delete the lines and the game should works fine. not sure this helped or they fixed now in server side.

ok, i think its solved. good job rockstar... if u added to windows host file something like this: 127.0.0.1 prod.telemetry.ros.rockstargames.com, delete the lines and the game should works fine. not sure this helped or they fixed now in server side.

 

Tested the game right now. Got a crash after like 10 minutes now.... so i don't think as well we can't fix that by ourselfs.

 

The part with the windows host files. There are many files so idk :D

Okay found it now. I just removed the line and saved it (backup +) so lets see ^^

Just played it and game crashed after 10 minutes like a when i posted that screenshot but i was in game and i played few seconds then game closed automatically.I thought today maybe R fixed nope still crashing...


Okay I'm p11sed off right now.

 

Drivers & Runtimes = Upgraded.

Already done with that and it's useless

1hour and 5 min.

Il change now the lobby to force it (if it want to crash, then with a lobby change)

Edit: lobby change was fine. Lets continue...

 

1hour 10min: Another lobby change...

Still fine without a crash.

Going back to SP and to online.

Okay from SP to Online no crash etc.

 

 

Il keep it updated when i reach 2 hours.

Just the Host file edit.

Since then it runs fine (1hour/28min)

With multiplay lobby changes.

Wait what file ?

%windir%\system32\drivers\etc

There is the "etc" Folder.

Open it and look for "Host".

Open the Host file and Remove the line "0.0.0.0 prod.telemetry.ros.rockstargames.com".

(You need Admin for that).

 

That worked for now for me ^^

I playing since 2 hours without any crash.

I will restart the game, and look if it still works fine. If yes its fixed.

There was a meme posted months ago which went along the lines of "add these addresses and links to the Hosts file and it'll stop you getting banned" - so has someone been cheating? Tut, tut. :p It didn't do anything to prevent bans by the way.

 

On topic, I streamed this for over four hours last night w/o an issue so it's a bit of a weird issue.

If those extra lines are in there, they were added by that person. It doesn't happen automatically, and from what I recall, it was only on the cheat (mod menu) websites where they said "use this hosts file, it prevent you getting banned" with those extra lines in it. Of course it was all BS, just a joke someone thought was funny but people actually believed.

I was mooder and my first acc is banned. When I get unban after 30 days, I used custom hosts file from alchemix (mod programmer) and everything was fine. But game with unlimited money is so boring. Well I bought second acc and now I play normal without mods :) But my hosts file was same. Now I deleted all links and game works :)

Well I bought second acc and now I play normal without mods :) But my hosts file was same. Now I deleted all links and game works :)
