Volganor Posted March 20, 2018 Share Posted March 20, 2018 The front bumper is not an "Eleanor" part. It is from the '65 Shelby GT350R They just happened to use that bumper on Eleanor. The rear isn't Eleanor or a stock Mustang. Looks like a custom blended in bumper with center exit exhausts. Aha, I see it now. The way you explained it, and after checking out a picture of that particular model, I understand better where Rockstar was coming from for the design of the Ellie. Waking up and seeing that particular bumper first thing made me jump to conclusions, and the name didn't help either because I really don't like the Eleanor from the Nic Cage movie. I humbly stand corrected and am much more open to this car now. Thank you so much, Mach, I was very disappointed a few hours ago. I had a sneaking suspicion that changing the paintjob would help me settle into this particular car better, and Joonas' picture confirms that. I have a very strong suspicion that I may just end up moving this car right next to my Dukes in its two-car garage. The acceleration sound is top-notch too. -snip- Yup, that settles it.
