Anyone else really proud to not have used any money glitches or exploits?

When I'm in a lobby and someone asks me how much money I have, my usual reply is 4-10 million. Never had anything higher than 10 million at one time but have made about 200 million ever. Their reply is usually like "ohhhhh, wow. I have 800 million from duping, spmp, bought a modded account, etc." I take a small amount of pride in knowing that I was part of that old school videogame grind and purchasing something I really need or want is much more satisfying.

Being proud for playing the game as intended? I don't think that's necessary.

I'd rather be a glitcher than someone who spends my whole life grinding to afford the next over priced vehicle.

I've duped and glitched money and don't regret it one bit.

With the direction the game (and maybe the whole franchise) is going, with focus on multiplayer, rising prices, over-the-top weaponized vehicles, freaking orbital cannons, and other stuff that doesn't fit in a GTA game, Rockstar doesn't deserve any more of my money.

Personally, I think its satisfying buying stuff and thinking "man I'm glad I didn't grind for this."

The Collector

I listened to someone try and get a modded account on party chat. Dude was scammed 4 times then got a legit account but had no ps+ and he didnt have any money left to activate ps+ on it. THE RAGE was real lmao. Told him to not bother and either do it legit or just buy shrek curds.

Yeah real upstanding model citizen you are

I f*cking love it when you post stuff like this, it made me laugh so hard.

OT:

f*ck legitness, this game was made to be exploited.

Yes, actually. Not like it matters much to anyone else though.

I've enjoyed the game, didn't turn it into a job, and still have everything I could ever want/need.

Glitching money is kinda necessary for me to make ends meet because of the sh*t payouts we get from jobs, so for me it doesn’t matter either way

I guess the only exploit I used a little was right after the Great Money wipe of 2014. People were creating crew challenges that paid out a couple million which involved just a few easy race times to beat. It was quickly patched though.

Grinding money to buy overpriced toys in a game. Imagine all the fun you could have playing instead of working. Glitch like theres no tomorrow right here. Besides, ever heard of a millionaire that says I wish Id have stayed washing dishes in the kitchen till I earned enough money to be a Billionaire. Pfffffft!!!!! Takeem for all they got I say!

I mean c’mon lets face it: when rockstar decided to put 20k bills if you dare destroy a oppresor/tank/deluxo/apc... f*ck their greediness, I also can be greedy. For every brat that tries to grief me and I have to pay 20k to make him stop it for at least 5 min I will glitch 1 million in my favour...

Hmm...

Well, I'll be honest, even my bicycle racks are full of Elegy Retro Custom dupes, so I'll go ahead and say that I failed the Ethics module of "Playing GTA", but congratulations to all of you who managed to remain upstanding members of society.

Sleepwalking

I have bought lots of stuff with modded money I am not regretting a bit. I am having fun instead of grinding.

Also I didn't ask for any modded money. Some random modders came, give me money without asking if I want or not. Rockstar never removed this money.

I did it ones (the elegy dupe) near the end of last year, but haven't done it since.

Now i'm just getting my money back by selling old vehicles i don't use anymore. Oppressor is the next to go,should give me another mill and Some extra thousand.

Swapping the junk in my special vehice warehouse (apart from ruiner) for special vehices was a blessing, any car/bike with weapons is a special vehice in my book
