What's with these banned for no reason topics?

Well, after more than 15 years of online gaming in so many games, I got banned first time in my life... in GTAO... in less than 24 hour gametime! XD No reasoning, nothing, just a ban came from nowhere. It's "just a bit" ridiculous. The first ticket I wrote to R* was in the ban peal menu... got an automatic answer that closed my ticket in that moment Ifinished that ticket, and got limited to write another for the next 3 and half hours. The next ticket is 12 hours old and still untoched. Sit back and enjoy the sunshine

This stinks that only next gen consoles are free from cheaters. I'm sure PC gamers could be free from them too, if someone would actually want to make it sure cheaters can't cheat like that.

 

Indeed. The reason theres a problem with cheaters on PC is because there are no dedicated servers. I can imagine some console plebs probably think theres the same problem with every other online game on PC. No, its not.

 

 

 

I wouldn't be surprised they would think like that. I've played some other online games on PC. Never saw cheating in them. Only in GTAO I can see enormous cheating.

Keep your console vs. PC discrepancies out of the discussion please - I'm aware you lot can make mountains of molehills when it comes to this but there's no place for elitism here, regardless of the circumstances of your ban or the platform you play on. Pack it in or I'll start handing out free vacations away.

 

My comment was out of frustration, and I removed it as its never been an argument I cared about really. Fully agree and apologise for flaming the issue potentially.

They are delusional cheaters, forgetful glitchers, and careless modders making hysterical attempts at rallying GTAF users to their cause. That's basically it.

Have you guys read some of the threads from the people who were unjustly banned?

 

There is almost always some final revelation that they did something suspect at some point. And it destroys the need for me to take this seriously.

 

Ive just never met anyone who was unjustly banned.

 

And I dont believe the people who claim they were. Not by Rockstar anyway. I could see someone outside of Rockstar, with malicious intent, somehow getting someone banned for no reason. But thats different.

 

Ill admit that I might be beating the boys who cried wolf, but I really dont think so.

Blind devotion to Scientology wasn't quite enough eh, you also had to abandon all ability to look evidence in the face and interpret it yourself?

 

Most of us, including me, don't go raising a finger and say "hang on a minute" every time someone gets banned. But this incident, and the one in 2017, there was clearly something fishy about it. You think PC Gamer magazine would publish an article saying "it looks like R* messed up here" if they thought there was a microcosm of a chance that they hadn't and T2 lawyers would be on the phone?

So the people on console are glitching millions again while players on PC get banned left and right.

This only confirms that my decision to stop buying Rockstar's games and anything else, which has something to do with Rockstar is right. I think they should've released this online game as a single player game, because it's clear that Rockstar isn't capable to handle online games.
