What is your strategy when outnumbered?

As long as it's fun, I'll stay and fight, but if they're tryhards, then I'll see if I'm up for it. I just run around and plant a bunch of mines or sticky bombs, they'll chase me and step on them. Sometimes, I get extra dirty and call a Khanjali tank or an Insurgent. If they're easy then I'll just fight with a heavy revolver mkII. If it gets annoying, then I'll either leave or try to make them target another player so I can search for trouble somewhere else.

Well I have a slight twist to add to this thread but was in a deathmatch yesterday 4 players against me and my assault rifle.

 

I turned the corner to bump into all four of them running towards me, sidestepped and killed all 4 players and moved on with my business.

I am very fiscally conscious, so I don't spend money using Ghost Org or even using RPG's on other players. That's how I had to grind early on and I have kept that sort of style. Also, it's really pointless to engage with 90% of people, especially considering the price of insurance costs.

 

I don't enjoy paying $20,000 for some loser's car no matter how much I have in my bank account. .

 

With that said, if I have a bounty on me I'll make it a challenge to stay alive around other players. The subways / underground areas are perfect for this.

 

Using my Deluxo and/or Vigilante along with proximity mines makes me a hard target to catch.

I'll give it a go when outnumbered. If I'm getting my ass kicked, I'll try to escape without going passive, getting a few kills while I try to make my way to a personal vehicle. Feels like a moral victory in those cases. I don't like having to go passive or going into a job/race in order to escape, but sometimes I have to take that route. Not a big combat animal, so I can't go up against large numbers by my lonesome.

 

If it's a pretty even matchup, I'll stay in it for a good while until I get bored, or until I get some help to run off my opponents.

 

If I'm outclassing them (it's happened a few times ), then I'm staying on top of them until they go passive or I run them out of the session.

I will only fight up to 6, anymore than that I'm teleporting to my house.My strategy is to play as cheap as I can. I'm a very fair fighter and I adjust my style according to who I am fighting but if someone has back up I will do what's needed. I will go off radar, ewo. I will put bombs on my duke of death and blow it up, I will drop BST like its P's and Q's , I will set mine traps ect.

I play Free aim. If I'm having a fair fight with the attacking players (no rocket launchers, no flying cars with missiles, etc...just a plain old gun against gun ground fight) then I'll definitely stay and fight. I'm always looking for PvP and that kind of stuff is very fun to myself personally.
