Dump appreciation

Hi. I've searched this subforum but could not finde any threads on the Dump. If there somehow is one please merge/move this post.

Oh well. 2 years into the game and a non-fun gta week we got 50% discount on the Dump - so I had to get it now.

Why? It is big and slow. The game is kinda slow now, waiting for next dlc. So slow gaming - driving the Dump - is my current love.

Slow food is a thing. Slow tv is a thing. Slow gaming is also a thing.

I'm gonna enjoy this Dump all week and in the future as well. More pics and vids to come later this week.

This discount is weird.

 

Dump is huge and fun and won't fit under most of the bridges in the game.

 

If you meet another player while driving it you might get lucky and they'll just burst your tyres. Otherwise it's one RPG and done.

Bought it on Tuesday, it was 1/2 off. How could I say no? lol.

 

Yeah, I was surprised to see it tear the wheels off of NPC vehicles. It starts smoking pretty quick, but whatever.

I called Pegasus, it was delivered to Fort Zancudo (I have a hangar there).

 

The Dump can't fit through the booths at the exits from Fort Zancudo, nor can it drive over the fences that surround it. If it spawns at Fort Zancudo, it's trapped at Fort Zancudo.

That's funny, I had the same problem when I first started and wanted to take picts. It also

makes the tanks seem tiny.

Dump love!

 

We had a crew meet yesterday, "bmx and motorbikes", and due to some sudden Dump love we ended up having 4 dumps at the skatepark. It was a blast and some of the guys had skills to jump onto the dump. Great laughs we had.

 

Don't think it's ok to post that vid here in this post. Glad to see dump love in some other posts here as well. Like the next-dlc-speculation, current event week post and in the video post.

 

All things equal I will bring my Dump to our next crew meet as well.

I found at least 6 uses for the so called "useless" Dump

 

- You can use Dump as a portable shield for your tank. The tank is the heaviest vehicle in the game, so it won't have any issues with pushing the Dump. The Dump is actually lighter.

- You can wallbreach under the map if you drive Rocket voltic under a Dump and try to exit it. It's hard to find the right position and the right place on the map, but once you foind it - you can repeat the wallbreach (by entering the Voltic again) and it will work every time unless someone hit your carefully crafted system.

- You can use the drown Dump as a water platform (and land vehicles on it) or as a water ramp for the boat stunts.

- You can use it to climb higher places. In order to climb to the roof of the vehicle - go third person, stand close to the dump's ladder and jump 3 times. However, the Brickade is faster and gives you pretty much the same elevation. Same with MOC.

- Dump can carry your Avenger.You can also carry multiple tiny NPC vehicles that you don't want to despawn.

- The recent changes in the Pegasus sytem allow you to spawn vehicle even if you are close to the pegasus spot. That gives you the possibility of creating Pegasus duplicates. You can't drvie the dupes. However, you can order ta Dump many times and use these clones to block the nearby traffic. 4-5 Dumps can easily block any road.

They get wedged under the building, you can use one to push another out, or a MOC cab will do it.
