Is GTA IV modding dead or have the modders left?

Just asking because I've made three help topics for IV rigging and such and not a single one of them have been answered, and there's literally no one else out there that can/will help me in rigging a character I'm trying to rig.

 

Oddly enough posting in III/VC/SA gets people replying within a few hours that same day.

 

So what's the deal? I mean, I love the trio as much as everyone else but is IV just...not liked or something? Or have the good modders left for eternity and I'm left to fetch for my own?

Pretty much all the major IV modders have been migrating to V since 2015. And yeah, IV is not as widely liked as V is, sadly. Some people still release mods, mostly on GTAInside. GTA4-Mods died a while ago and since then the scene has been rather quiet. However, if you care about lore-friendly car mods, both @Thundersmacker and @G.C.T. have their active workshop topics on the modding section.

Appreciate the response. I've been interested in rigging models for IV (because after a while SA is becoming boring to rig for) but I'm having just one, issue when exporting that I would appreciate anyone stepping in to assist me. But it seems like I'll have to give up and maybe...go back to SA or try V. Shame, really.

 

Also um, I don't do car mods but do those two guys know anything about model (character) rigging? That'd be great.
