Own everything apart from some cars and the two sh*tty planes - Bombusf*ckoff and Rogue. And I NEED more than 25% off to bother with any of the planes I don't own, apart from the Bombusf*ckoff and Tula, 50% will be an insta buy for me. I can at least use those in Transform Races, I only use my Akula in FR and nothing else.

And only double Crapversary.

 

Way to hype up the next update.

The fact that they are publicly advertising the livestreams again makes me really worried that we may not get an update for a while. I forget when it was but I recall them pulling a similar stunt during an update drought.

R* is running out of ideas for 2x events. Just give us 2x events for Doomsday Heists and regular Heists instead of the useless modes nobody plays. And they were pretty late on Facilities as well as I already bought one myself. Better yet, why don't R* just announce a future DLC in the works?

They could at least mix up the content of each 2x event. Liks 1-2 PvP modes + with one Contact Mission type + one business bonus.

But no, it's all or nothing/black & white weeks, jeez R* sucks at this.

 

Or like I said last week, they could just have each day of the week assigned a 2x bonus, every week.

Like 2x Heists & Missions on Saturday, 2x PvP & Races on Sundays, 2x Import/Exports on Mondays, etc

 

However they still dish out these focused 2x weeks, where you'll either love it fully or hate it completely.

I mean if I can think of practical/better ways to have 2x weeks, R* surely can....it just proves that they are lazy.

As far as I know, the distance between the facility and the target makes no difference as far as strike teams are concerned so if you're buying a Facility mainly to play around with them you might be better off going with a cheaper location. Edited March 13, 2018 by IamCourtney

I never had any desire to buy the dump but with 50% off I might do just for fun of itSame thought when I saw the news wire. "Maybe I'll get it just for 5h1t5 and giggles". If I do, it will officially mean I finally have more GTA dollars than sense. This does smell of a test to see if they can get well off players buy any old crap (no pun intended) if they sell it half price.

 

Pleased as punch though that I managed to resist buying the Akula before now. 25% off will ding-dang-do for me!

 

As others have said, discounts are pretty good. Can't see me being bothered to chase the double payout modes though.

I love occupy, it got me on my feet months ago but the flying bike is stupid. I got good with it in occupy but its so unrealistic I dont think i will ever buy it same with the flying cars.

Can I use the dump to haul bikes during mc sales missions? I think i read i cant but maybe things changed?

Personally I'm thinking of taking a lil break from GTA-online, and just wait until the dlc drops (if it drops, as we know nothing atm). Current event week is meh for me. And I'm sitting on enough cash to get a few things should the next dlc drop. I hoped for some double event on missions, just for nostalgia and having lots of folks playing the contactmissions again. That would motivate me to continue, but just for the sake of moneygrinding, nop... And if it's just double cash for one contactperson, let Madrazo and us have some fun. He's such an sympathetic and caring person... ;-)

 

And his missions are fun and the best paying. THat alone makes me think, we won't see it happen anytime soon LOL...

Exactly this. I save vehicles to purchase later once they're on sale. But I'm just curious why you wanna buy the visione? It's not on sale. Or is that unrelated to the sales of the week and just a toy you want?

 

Anyway, it's a bit funny how anticlimactic the 13th was - a lot of us thought there'd be a new DLC but we get one of the lamest event weeks in awhile instead. Troll level 100 lmao.

Yup, same here.

When a Bunker 2x comes about it really tops off any needed money for the next DLC.

So the ongoing assault of weeks of PvP crap is almost a way for R* to push players away from the game until DLC.

Like I said before, if they at least integrated one type of Contact Mission into the 2x events each week (Trevor, Madrazo, Lester, etc), that would be good.

But nope, it's all or nothing PvP-fest for weeks at a time where the Newswire advertises the repetitive bonuses as something new & exciting.
