so many console players, how does it feel to kill people with autoaim ?

Having played on PC and console it feels just as unsatisfying as killing with a mouse on PC. PvP in this game is a broken mess regardless of the platform.

 

i agree that pvp in this game is garbage

 

BUT as a pc player you just cannot take any console player serious if they tell you how good they are in pvp.

I take a good free aim pvp player on console a lot more serious than a m&k pc player...

There's other games I would take people more serious if they said they were good in pvp no matter what platform they're on

 

People have actually done relatively well in refraining from the pc masterrase etc in this thread but they still manage to find ways of trying to get the console vs pc discussion going..

PS4 here. I have a decent gaming PC but for me, being cheat menu free is priority #1. I do plan to get GTAV for PC eventually, to try out single player mods, FiveM etc.

PC i mosly play in 1440p @ 60 FPS but sometimes i switch to 2160p @ 60 FPS too. But my GPU`s are getting really hot in 4K in GTA V.

 

I could never ever play anything in 30 FPS again. Maybe i switch to consoles in like 2 generations (PS6 or XBox Three or whatever it`s called then) if REAL 4K @ 60 FPS is standard for them but never before that. Just not worth it.

 

I do play on PC with XBox One Controller. It`s not about the controls for me.

 

One GTX 1070 can handle GTA V in 1080p pretty maxed out. Two of them can handle 1440p and 2160p but produce a lot of heat. One 1080 probably can handle 1440p too. One 1080ti should be able to handle 4K.

I can listen to whatever music I like with any player of my choice: simple mp3 or FLAC rips of my own CDs that I usually listen via receiver;

 

 

You can play music while playing on Xbox One. You need an app (can't remember its name at a moment) & a flash drive for it. Its limited to 200 songs & I'm not sure whether it plays FLAC or not, but Its better than nothing.

 

It's not the same experience you guys have on PC, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Well and truly Xboned, here - aiming to upgrade to an Xbonx hopefully by the end of the year, which'll get me out of sub-1080p visual soup purgatory...

 

In fairness, XB1 isn't so bad - the combo of screenshot function and OneDrive cloud storage is invaluable, and as someone who gets really tired, strained hands from fine controls at work, the XB1 controller is comfy to the point where regular gaming sessions become therapeutic (that's my excuse, at least!).

Started GTAO on the PS3 in June 2016, I gave the PS3 to my stepson and transferred to the PS4 very quickly...less than 3 months.

 

On the desktop version of this site, you will see "J-Scott-D and Lezly-D on PSN" under my screen name. Too bad that can't be seen on the mobile version. People wouldn't even have to ask.

you can do that with a PC too, i use a PS4 controller on PC and sit in my fat lazyboy when I'm chilling. You can use any size TV too and have an extra monitor too.

 

The only advantage on console is the lack of cheaters.

PS4. Been a PS guy since the first Playstation. Did try a 360 for a while, mostly playing Ghostbusters and GTA IV, and then the PS3 Slim was released (Price drop, play Arkham Asylum as Joker, God of War III was close to release! ), then the 360 RROD on me. I was rarely playing it even before I bought the PS3, so I never bothered to try to have it repaired. I vastly prefer the PS exclusives anyway, so I'll probably never give an XBox serious consideration again.

X1X Scorpio, love starting up the game & loading fully into Online in 2 minutes.

(Also goes for other games like Battlefront 2, where I load in about 20 seconds sooner into a match than my friends on X1 standards & slims).

 

Originally was a Playstation person, still have my 2 original PS1 systems with the original Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, & Einhander games.

However I switched over to Microsoft around the release of Halo, loading of games was just so much faster on the original Xbox over the PS2.

Since then I never bothered switching back & until Sony releases a X1X equivalent & maintains such, I never will.

Despite currently being the underdog in performance yes. Microsoft is a dirty word in most countries outside of the US, plus the company itself really has fallen short on marketing & sales attempts. Adult Swim for example every night has PS4 ads during almost every commercial break, Sony has been jumping on exclusives & season pass early access, Microsoft has been lazy. Sony has really been on the ball for marketing, despite their bad hiccups in other areas such as how they manage & handle account & information thefts.

PC here , and It will ALWAYS be PC !

believe it or not : I´ve NEVER owned any PSs or Xbox´s ! not a PS1 , 2 or any Xbox , NONE ! my last console was the Super Nintendo I think ....

the PC is just waaay more versatile (plus it performs way better than consoles : FPS, Graphics etc..)

I´m just afraid R* will release the next GTA on PC MonthS after the console version (like GTA 5) , R* please release all versions at the same time !

a normal desk with my Laptop and a Monitor ... Controller, mouse& keyboard are plugged in ...I think it s way more confortable to sit that way ...

I do think the Xbox is huge only in the States , in the rest of the world the PS is still king

PS3. Yep. Still living in the pre-historic age of GTA V. I kind of prefer it though because from what I've seen GTA V has been updated to the max, too much stuff to keep up with. Though, the weapons/cars/clothing options seem better but I make what I have work. I've always preferred consoles. Had a PS1 and PS2. I used to PC game when I was younger, but then consoles became more interesting to me and I'm more used to them.
