ELS v8.5.1 crashing my game

Actually ELS v8.5 and now V8.5.1 crash the game. I've been using ELS since GTA IV and never have experienced an issue. I know it is this causing the problem as I've removed all mods except for Alex's Script Hook V. I have all the requirements. Also ran the Steam verification tool. And yet the problem exist.

If anyone has a solution or has experienced this themselves please let me know. As I really enjoy using ELS!
