Mafia HUD - III/VC/SA


I've been working on the project for quite some time now , and I think today is the time to release it into public.
This ASI plugin will modify the HUD to look similar to mafia's.


Features


- Health bar similar to Mafia.
- Car Radar.
- Compass point either north or towards mission destination
- Analog clock for mission timer
- Wanted level display system similar to Mafia
- Customizable player health icon
- Map on pressing <TAB> or any other button.
- Loading Screen from Mafia
- Customizable options
- Compatibility with all three GTAs
- Speedometer , Fuel Gauge , Gear display from mafia.
- Different view for day and night.

Installation


Installation is just simply extract the contents of the archive to the III/VC/SA folder.
You will also need an ASI loader for SA.
If you need to customize settings , the cfg file is in mafiaHud/mafiaHud.cfg file.
Description for configuration is given in the same file.

Supported Versions


- GTA 3 1.0
- GTA VC 1.0
- GTA SA 1.0

Support for other version is planned and will not take long.

Wow!Terrific work there.

Does that support widescreen resolutions though?(I'm asking because I have not tried it yet)

I've always heard and known that III/Vc do not have proper scaling for textures.

Yeah it does support widescreen resolutions. I tested it on multiple resolutions on all three games.

I love this so much considering Mafia 1 is a gem to me, so well done on this!

If I can be nitpicky though, it has a slight incompatibility when using a controller / Ginput (the map doesn't appear when you press L1, which would be the TAB equivalent on PC)

Yeah I didn't code the mod keeping the controller in mind. I'll make sure that I make it compatible with a controller in the next version.

 

I've also made the source code for the mod public,

it can be found here -> https://gitlab.com/Parik/MafiaHUD

Do note that the source code can be a little bit messy , especially the Compatibility.cc file,  and it'll likely be incompatible with newer plugin-sdk versions.
