gtalover9
Hi everyone. Im new around here and want suggestions on a good graphic card for playing gta 5 under high resolution. I have a 18.5 inch hp lcd monitor. It has a refresh rate of 60Hz. I am getting a new PC with 8 gb ram, intel core i5 processor with maybe 3.2 GHz. now what should i get a hdd or a ssd? Have heard that ssd is faster and better. If I get ssd then 120 GB or 256 GB? I want to play under high resolution if not under ultra. Budget is around $450. Is 8 gb ram good enough or should i upgrade that too? Need help. Edited March 9, 2018 by gtalover9
ṼirulenⱦEqừinox
While you can get a 1TB HD for around $45USD SSD is better but either one works fine SSD just provide faster loadup so if you want something where you can have a lot of games than go with a 1 or 2TB HD. 8gb is enough ram but what you really need to be looking at is graphic cards regular intel hd graphic cards aren't good enough for this game you need a dedicated graphics card such as GeForce or AMD. While you don't need the new 1080GTX you can go with a 980GTX which is what I have and still get 60fps thats your main focus as well as ram. to be 100% honest your budget of around $480 will give you a decent gaming desktop but you won't be able to play on ultra settings. Here is what the recomend specs are for GTA V Minimum Specs OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 64 Bit Service Pack 2* (*NVIDIA video card recommended if running Vista OS) Processor: Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs) / AMD Phenom 9850 Quad-Core Processor (4 CPUs) @ 2.5GHz Memory: 4GB Video Card: NVIDIA 9800 GT 1GB / AMD HD 4870 1GB (DX 10, 10.1, 11) Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible HDD Space: 72GB Recommended Specs OS: Windows 8.1 64 Bit, Windows 8 64 Bit, Windows 7 64 Bit Service Pack 1 Processor: Intel Core i5 3470 @ 3.2GHZ (4 CPUs) / AMD X8 FX-8350 @ 4GHZ (8 CPUs) Memory: 8GB Video Card: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB / AMD HD7870 2GB Sound Card: 100% DirectX 10 compatible HDD Space: 72GB
