PinPointSniper Posted March 8, 2018 Share Posted March 8, 2018 (edited) Is the Tailgater worth buying? I know it's only 55,000 but I can't justify it since it can be spawned. Yet on the other side, it's literally impossible to spawn, I'm starting to think it was easier to spawn when it wasn't purchasable. I even got it as a Simeon vehicle yesterday, and it still didn't spawn! I'm already searching for a few days now. So should I just splash the measly 55k or just keep trying to spawn it? Golf course is most common, but it can also be found in car parks at the race course, observatory, beach (near the lifeguard headquarters), across from the Rooftop Rumble garage, and the movie studio (that strange car park that looks like a swimming pool). Try driving another sedan around when it's on Simeon's list. There's no real point in having one unless you want the satisfaction of having found the bloody thing. It is a good choice for staggered start races or when you find some decent people who can agree to do a sedans race without using the stupid V12. But it is not a car that you buy, it is a car that you have to find, imo. Parking lot at the golf club is your best chance, especially when Simeon wants it. It will spawn there eventually. I got mine by doing laps of the golf course when it was on Simeon's list...and then spent a few more in-game days doing the same to get one without a coffee cup. It's a pain to spawn in freeroam - I've seen three or four in the last (insert number of years since PC release). I saved and kept mine from the introduction race with Lamar. Maze Bank Arena car park Marina car park Vespucci Beach car park Majestic Film Studio, car park that looks like a pool Golf Club car park Galileo Observatory car park Vinewood Racetrack, car park near track entry It can also spawn in the car park behind 3 Alta Street but the script for Simeon's cars to spawn there is a bit buggy. It´s a sure spawn spot there , I literally spawn it 3 or 4 times in the row , you can drive there by yourself between 10 and 12 am like i said , I don´t think that you need a particular vehicle to raise the chance of spawning it ... just any car will do the job ... We end up near the yacht club spawn point for the Tailgater (before I even knew the dang car could even spawn online lol). Me: Isnt that Michaels car? Him: Yeah, it spawns here and other places, take it if you want it. We end all hostilities at once, get to chatting and he shows me around the map picking up rare NPC spawn vehicles.
