7 Rockstar Games That Could Be Next on Mobile devices(iOS/Android) in 2018

There are 7 Rockstar Games which have completed their 10th year anniversaries but has not been remastered for mobile devices. These games are: GTA: Vice City Stories

 

GTA IV

Red Ded Revolver

Max Payne 2

Midnight Club (series)

The Warriors

Manhunt (series)

So guys please motivate Rockstar Games to remaster these game as soon as possible by requesting & asking them about these games.

I know I've mentioned this before in another thread, but I really don't see how IV could possibly be on a mobile device. It could barely run on most PCs back when it came out, I'm pretty sure most modern mobile devices would overheat and catch on fire if they tried to run it. I'd rather just see IV ported to PS4. I also don't think I can see Rockstar even doing games on mobile devices anymore. Bully, LCS, and others sold quite poorly, so there's probably no incentive for them to go any further with that. If it doesn't make much money, they're not gonna bother doing it.

 

I think most of those titles listed are already on the PS4, so once IV and VCS make it to PS4, I'll be happy with that.

I'd say give it 5 or 10 years at the most and eventually when mobile technology is more stable at that point, IV and maybe V will be stable enough to run on Mobile devices. I can imagine GTAIV on Mobile but I'm not sure how GTAOnline would work control wise.

 

the next question is how would the graphics look at that point and if we'll have the ability to change it if your device is powerful enough to run it on full.

GTA Vice City Stories was the best game because it includes map of vice city and few features of san andreas

I don't think rockstar will release any mobile games in near future due to their poor sales.

They removed Bully from playstore.

But I hope to see games like Warriors or VCS remastered on pc atleast

VCS on PC wouldn't work considering it's a PlayStation Exclusive ..Only thing close to that is the emulator & they only release the PlayStation Exclusive's remastered on Mobile via Android & IPhone

Other than the fact that not even modern gaming computers can accurately play IV due to it being the worst optimized thing in the history of video games, do you know how big a fully loaded version of V currently is? 70GB. San Andreas is just 4 in comparison. The only phones on the market that have a total capacity large enough to contain a game like V are $2000+. Not to mention the increased number of buttons. The 3D era games were comparatively easier due to the only controls you needed during driving being the accelerator, brake, handbrake, steering, looking left/right and shooting. Now you have a phone to take into account (phoneception?), ducking, aiming the car in mid-air, Franklin's special ability and switching/manually aiming weapons, including blowing up explosives. The screen would be covered in nothing but buttons.

 

Wait 5 - 10 years and maybe we'll have something that can play those games on the move. For now, there's zero chance. Forget about it and go on with your lives.

Sure optimisation is worst than ever but playability touch down gta V I mean physics and complex issue.

I think there is a way to convert some of gta IV code to Unity like gta V has started port but its too damn complicated to use texture wich can be replaced to look like reflections rockstar there did. Its pretty easy to them to change some stuff to better optimisation. But in consequence to use bigger textures with normal mapping with such realistic shadows and bigger city than in history on it cause lagging and burring themself alive

Didn't they just released Bully's port out of the blue? I don't remember there being some sort of advertisement aside from a trailer, which came only a few days before the port was released, that and the game didn't have a large fanbase

I don't think rockstar is going to be releasing GTA 4 or VCS on mobile because LCS and Bully sold quite poorly on Play Store but who knows maybe rockstar will start focusing on GTA 4 or VCS releasing on mobile after they're done with GTA VI, red dead redemption 2 and etc..

Really want GTA VCS mobile to be released as that is one game I never got to play as I have never owned a console.

 

I have always been a PC gamer due to the fact that when I was a kid and teen my parents would never allow me to buy a games console and when I was around 13 y/o they got me a PC to do "homework" and "practice for exams" and so on... then through my uncle I found out that you could actually get most console games on PC and as my parents would never allow me to buy games I had to pirate them as a kid (don't worry I buy games now unless it is an old classic that has DRM or bugs which prevent me from running newer versions of the game which are the only versions I can legally buy any more such as GTA IV). I found out how much better PC gaming was than console gaming as you get more features and options in the games and you can play older titles and even do mods and so on which you can't really get on console (and a PC isn't just for gaming it is functionally superior than a console as you can do everything a console can plus much much more)

 

ALSO as far as I know GTS Stories were never PlayStation exclusive they were meant to be "PORTABLE" versions of GTA which is why they were released on PSP (the Nintendo DS was a totally different type of handheld it was a unique handheld which is why there was no full size console games such as Nintendo Game Cube or Wii games actively being ported on to the DS (though there may have been but it wasn't mean to be a portable version of full size 'Nintendo consoles) whereas the PSP was meant to be a portable version of a PlayStation) and people really wanted them on PS2 or something like that from what I remember hearing a few years ago and Rockstar decided to port them to PS2 which is why they released mobile editions of GTA LCS
