{c++} simple keypress

Hey guys. I am having trouble just creating a simple key press to spawn a ped, object, or vehicle as wanted. I used examples from the SDK to get a true/false statement that runs a loop using this

bool get_key_pressed(int nVirtKey){	return (GetAsyncKeyState(nVirtKey) & 0x8000) != 0;}DWORD trainerResetTime = 0;bool mod_switch_pressed(){	return (GetTickCount() > trainerResetTime + 1000) && get_key_pressed(VK_F4);}void reset_mod_switch(){	trainerResetTime = GetTickCount();}

as shown in the Native Trainer example.

 

I have reviewed many code postings on the forums and even tried C++ tuts online that aren't helping me at all. (Its me, i know)

 

I have a working script that runs fine on the loop, which does toggle properly using the above code, but i cannot get a simple key press for a single action :blink:

 

Would someone be as kind as to post a very simple example like:

void(){       //This is the Keypress            //I place my stuff here, object spawns once on key Keypress}

I would be very grateful as always.

Simple GetAsyncKeyState will do it.

 

Usage:

if (GetAsyncKeyState(KEY) & 1) {// code}
