It's whatever, if they sell, they sell..still feels like their scraping the bottom of the barrel to boost sales.

What they could do is making it work like the current Battlefield, right now there's no away to get a standalone Battlefield 1 from the PSN store, you get the Revolution edition which jas all the DLCs included (basically the game and the premium pass) for the price of the main game, which is pretty good in my opinion, of course not that good for people that already bought the game for full price and an additional price for the premium acces, thing is with Rockstar, this doesn't look like it's digital, or at least not yet.

No, the box actually doesnt say that. But the newswire does act as if it a feature to get all the upgrades which is complete bull. I think it was speculated earlier in the thread. Just like its was specualted that it was a GTAV pregmium edition, but its premium online edition because of the starter pack only. If you actually read the box, it says you have to download...such and such and you could be charged. Fine print, my mind read in the small gold print, gta v, gtao upates and starter pack. But it only says gtao no updates. For a comparison, my original box, gtao included on the back in small writing. But this box, its as if they are coequal games which arugably they are at this point.

I don't know that it's much of a leap. It could just be the latest complete build through the March update we just had. I DO doubt that it includes whatever they are working on for summer, though.

I'm sure more smaller DLC is on the way but the Doomsday Heist seems like the climax for obvious reasons so offering players instant access to that and other substantial online content could warrant the definition of a premium edition.

 

Still confident once RDR2 comes out GTAO is getting pushed all the way to side which is for the best. The franchise needs at least a 2 year break to regain that same level of hype everyone had between GTAIV to V. We've had almost 5 years of continuous GTA content which is both a good thing and a bad thing considering the immersion breaking sh*t they're adding to keep the game relevant.

Nope, the lighter is cut content. It's been in the artwork forever. Also in the early previews of the game, it was shown to the media, Trevor lighting a Rebel up with gasoline/lighter.

I really can't see what is 'premium' about this at all, R* making out that you can get all the DLC (which we get anyway, with the standard game) with this 'premium' edition. Just the CEP included, Feck all premium, just a bunch of some of the worst crap you can buy in game.

A map expansion, now that would be premium, I'd buy that for a dollar (well, a pound or two)

Kind of sad actually they came to this realization after IGG2. I would've liked Michael to have a Nero. I don't drive supers with him, doesn't really suite him but it's kind of like a luxury super..if that makes sense.
