The only thing that really annoys me about this so called "Premium" Edition is how R* thinks that a "Starter Pack" (we're still in 2015?) with pretty low bang for your buck (I mean, a Dune FAV, seriously?) is the only thing it takes for R* to try to re-re-release the game as a "Premium" edition.

 

I mean, if the "Premium" edition had both a Shark Card bonus and the Starter Pack, at least it could make a little more sense but as it is, it's just not worth it, even for someone who somehow hasn't played GTA V in 2018.

i Agree it is a little lackluster. But I guess they couldn't give away the really powerful items like: The Oppressor, The Deluxo etc. They had to balance it out some way.

R* understands the word "soon" better than they understand "balance"

You can almost smell the sweat of the underpaid storage workers who have to repack all the unsold copies and switch the slide-in covers for the Premium Edition ones and reseal the boxes again.

It actually comes with a million in game bucks to blow with the starter pack.

 

And trust me, it will sell very well because there are people out there that are completists and will buy all that they have available.

I'm not saying that thr Starter Pack should give Endgame items to the player but let's be honest, a Frogger instead of a Buzzard? The worst properties with the worst locations? No Vehicle Warehouse? No High End Apartment? A Dune FAV instead of literally any other vehicle? With exception of the Turismo R and Marksman Rifle, the rest of the vehicles and weapons aren't competitive or the most useful.

 

You're better off buying Shark Cards instead of this ripoff, really.

Are you kidding? This is only the beginning for new customers. RDR2 doesn't drop till October and like it or not, gta online is not dead and won't be for a long time. Gta4 for lg is also still alive and well.

Yes I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't add to SP but hey, if this gets people to play again then I'm all for it.

Nope, it's completely wasted potential. What fool exists that wants GTA V really badly within the 5 years since release and waits for this abomination rather than just buying a copy from eBay? There is no "new beginning" here.

 

There's nothing "premium" about this re-release, just R* milking more cash out of a severely over-milked game. But hey, at least your prediction about a "premium" edition coming was right. It's a Pyrrhic victory since this re-release is worthless but you predicted it.

 

Speaking of GTA IV, so nice of R* to celebrate GTA IV's 10th anniversary by replacing half it's soundtrack with new stuff as opposed to using that money to renew the pre-existing songs, y'know, like a normal company does.

It's not wasted potential to those that have never played. I'm sure not everyone has tried this game especially if they have been busy playing everything else. I know it sounds absurd but there are people that have not gotten around to this and it will be a good opportunity for them to finally dip their toes in the criminal lifestyle.

 

And I'm not too proud to have called this version cause I expected more out of it. A 4k console upgrade and VR mode would have been very cool and worth a double dip for me but, oh well.

 

And you guys don't need to be upset or start hating on R* because this version is clearly not for long time players unless you wanna buy for the alternate cover art. We still have more dlcs to come and hopefully they redeem themselves with better sh*t.

 

 

Edit: Also, why is front cover PS4 and the back is Xbox one? With no official word from R*, what are the odds of this being fake?

Well, i already have the game and everything that this ''starter pack'' brings i already have (brought everything with in-game money, didn't needed it shark card or modder/glitches for this) that's kind of irrelevant to be honest.

I'm only getting it for the case and $1,000,000 (despite not actually needing it). But you do know that $1,000,000 nowadays is a nats piss in the ocean right?

 

For something thats called Premium, it isn't very Premium if you ask me.

 

Ok, so they're giving you businesses, property and wot not. But the cheapest of all. I know its a kick-starter basically but when you call something Premium and throw in "most" low-end items...

 

To me thats like buying a McLaren then replacing the badge with a Dacia badge.

I'd say it's more likely that it'll come with the starter pack or some shark cards or something.
