I love how they added includes gtav gtao and the criminal enterprise starter pack. Guess they want people to keep paying full price for a 4 year old game.

The sad part is, someone will believe this is an actually good deal, not realizing that GTA Online and all available DLC is free with the base game.

Everyone who wants GTA V has it or can buy a second hand copy easily

There's nothing going for that edition, just a worthless 'starter pack' which is full of useless vehicles you can't even sell! The only good thing in it is the free businesses, but they're also the sh*t locations

Don't forget, NONE of it is use able in Single Player! Happy days!

Do people even think ...if it was just the game enhanced with a shark card or whatever then they would simply call it Grand theft auto V + Great white shark card something is definitely different about the premium edition.

 

Plus according to my research every Premium thing that comes to a game is New thing you dumb F*cks. So stop doubting things and just wait till they announce it. Map expansion is our only hope.

Agree with the wasted (or at least untapped) potential, but this doesn't rule out further updates.

 

I mean, you'd think that this would be a 'complete edition', but then you remember the number of times publishers have put out such editions for games, and then ...released more DLC on top of that. :turn:

 

 

From where I'm sitting, this is less about being the all-inclusive package to round out the game, and simply like a more elaborate take on those 'GTA V + _____ Shark card' bundles they've been pushing for years.

No, purchasing a retail priced game that is 59.99 or more, for an 5 year old game is just plain stupid. The assets in the pack aren't sellable, and locations are sh*t. GTAO is indeed a grindfest, stop shilling.

Are you kidding? This is only the beginning for new customers. RDR2 doesn't drop till October and like it or not, gta online is not dead and won't be for a long time. Gta4 for lg is also still alive and well.

Yes I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't add to SP but hey, if this gets people to play again then I'm all for it.

Are you kidding? This is only the beginning for new customers. RDR2 doesn't drop till October and like it or not, gta online is not dead and won't be for a long time. Gta4 for lg is also still alive and well.

Im just going off of what yan said, and that this premium edition coming near or after the next dlc just seems like there would be no dlc's after. I myself would like Dlc's to continue.

It's not even available in the base game just Online

 

 

When I say the base game I don't mean the single player, I mean just the basic version of the game, the original disc or digital download. The packaging of this premium edition makes it appear as though Online is a separate entity that someone would have to pay for in order to play, as opposed to just buying GTA V (the original edition) and just clicking online. So yes, GTA Online is already part of the original, base programmed game (again, not referring to single player)

First of all - contents of this are the least surprising thing ever. A big hearty laugh at anyone who thought they were adding Liberty City with this thing. Sorry, it would have been nice, but no.

 

Second - it's interesting that someone has pics of a physical copy. What is on that disc exactly? It's been theorized that they were waiting for the spring and maybe summer updates to come out before they released this, so all the DLC could be included. Well the spring update came and went, and the premium edition still has not. If they're holding out and waiting for the summer DLC, either it's already done (unlikely - we know they always test up until the last minute), or it's already MOSTLY done minus final tweaks, or it's not on there at all. But that last possibility doesn't make a lot of sense to me; why put out an all-inclusive disc with DLC that doesn't actually include all DLC? Why delay it before if they weren't going to wait and put this alleged "last big update" on the disc? Lots of question marks. If some or all of that update IS on the disc, I wonder if we might start seeing leaks from it. You wouldn't be able to get to it on PS4, though.

There was a dedicated thread on this topic and the overall consensus is short: this starterpack is a garbage.Won't repeat any arguments from there, just go read if you want.

99.9% chance none of the updates are actually on the disc. I gurantee everyone who buys this will immediately have to download the updates after the game installs, as you would normally.

 

This is simply a marketing gimmick to push some disc sales. It's literally just a physical package of the deal they already have available via digital.

I'm pretty sure that the game disc is just the regular GTA V disc. The CESP will just be a download code and the update will just need to be downloaded like all the other updates. The whole "The DLC will be on the disc" just makes no sense, I don't know why people started theorising that.
