Rockstar games comfirmed there is no such "premium edition" and it was a fake listing from someone needs Rockstar that isn't actually Rockstar games. It's retardedly easy to fake this

Fake or not, I take everything R* says with a grain of salt. Rockstar did not confirm it was fake nor real

Sorry not reading the whole thread. Anybody else thinking this will be story DLC that finally adds all the online vehicles into story mode? Plus maybe a few tweeks. For example, obviously the guys have moved up in the world since they started this adventure, so now we can reassign them any personal vehicle we want.

Bye bye Tailgater, Michael gets a Windsor drop.

Buffalo S was nice, but Frank's new Tempesta fits in better in the Vinewood Hills.

Even no class Trevor would dump that Bodhi in a heartbeat for a Kamacho.

That would make me buy another copy anyway.

I made this exact speculation earlier lol. What an easy way to pump out more sales for the single player crowd hungry for DLC vehicles.

Im hoping for more and a map expansion but wouldnt be surprised if its much less.

Wouldn't surprise me if it's true tho

I think Rockstar delayed gta6 because of weak consoles, that won't be able to process bigger and more detailed world. Even V has performance issues, when you drive fast or fly low. They've made a mistake releasing V on sh*tty past gen, so we have to deal with loading screens, walls that not render in distance and other bugs. The idea to sell two game copies to each player was good at the start, but since they figured that most profit comes from microtransactions, they want to make sure new world will be perfect and addictive to keep players as long as possible.

I wouldn't be so sure. Think back to 2011 when Rockstar revealed GTAV. Everyone was like "No way is this possible on current gen Xbox 360 and PS3, no way!" And they would reel off a list of why it wasn't possible on then current gen 360 and PS3. Yet Rockstar pulled it off and shocked everyone. Think about it. The Xbox 360 for example only had 512mb of Ram. Current gen Xbox One and PS4 have 8GB ram. Rockstar will shock us again with GTA6. And they will release it on PS4, Xbox One AND next gen PS5 and Xbox 2. They will release it for current gen as GTA games are expensive to make and the PS4 and Xbox One have sold over a 100 million units. That's where the money is. If they just released it for next gen only it would only sell a couple of million, if that. GTAV has sold 90 million copies and Rockstar will want to match or even better those sales numbers. So to match GTAV sales numbers and make the most money they will have to make it for current gen and next gen just like they did with GTAV. Rockstar North have been making GTA6 since late 2013 anyway. So it is inevitable they are making it for current gen.

I would be happy if rockstar would just address the damn issue at all.

The fact that theyre keeping quite could mean that its true. This rumour has been around for a week, they mustve seen it by now.

^ It will not be a map expansion. The current map is still incomplete, and doesn't work properly...

But shush. I'm trying to get this $100.

Exactly, this is why I think LC is not only probable but also completely possible to be added to GTA5 on CG. It's the surprise most people wont even see coming. It's no coincidence that GTA4's anniversary is around the corner and this "leak" lines right up with it. I almost wanna take up devdevis bet though.

There's nothing that could be added to a physical disc right now that cant just be accessed digitally and all of our DLC has been free for the most part.

A new map addition however can not be free and thus, if released, the reason why a "New Edition" of the game would be available.

Since we know they can if they desire, the question is if it does happen, will it also have properties we can buy/live in? Or will it just be a place you can fly/drive visit . sh*t what about the radio stations? sh*t didn't even think about that. Think how many copy rights R* would have to buy to add a whole new city. Hmmm

If you're wrong and you don't follow through, well... :santa:

Personally though, the only real hint of LC post-GTA IV (the middle park screenshot) felt more like a quick test or portfolio piece. It's obviously possible to do since a team of volunteer modders were well on their way to doing it, but that's a far cry from R* doing it and R* doing it properly, so I'm not terribly optimistic of anything tbh.

Wishlist fantasy time - the Premium Edition will be GTAV + Single Player DLC featuring further adventures of Michael, Trevor and Franklin in Liberty City + LC map expansion for GTAO.

The most logical thing for them do, if they are indeed releasing a SP expansion pack, is to release it separately at first, and then package it with the base game and throw some goodies in and release a premium version sometime later. It doesn't releasing sp expansion as part of the premium education, because not a lot of people would buy the entire game again just to play three or four missions.

After doing some research on premium edition for all games

I can fully agree this GTA V Premium edition is some kinda expansion every premium edition I searched up had expansions in it or it simply meant some kinda expansion.

I know people gonna doubt me and say its not happening but ya know how people are nowadays they like to doubt things

Im calling it now - Liberty City Map expansion in honor of the 10 year anniversary.

Edit- and they all cost around the same good lord I hope Im right.

GTA has had exactly three special/premium/collector's edition games IIRC, and none of them involved any sort of map expansion.

GTA San Andreas Special Edition: Released after the Hot Coffee "scandal" forced all existing copies of the game to be reclassified as Adults Only. This version had the offending scene completely removed. It came in special packaging and included a DVD about low-rider culture. The map remained unchanged.

GTA IV Special Edition: Included a functional lockbox and all sorts of GTA-themed swag like CDs and art books. The map was no different than that of the base game. GTA IV saw to stand-alone DLC titles in the Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. Both took place in Liberty City, and the map remained completely unchanged for both entries (with the exception of some buildings receiving functional interiors for story purposes).

GTA V Special edition: Included a map, a cap, some more GTA-themed swag, and some exclusive DLC. The map was no different than that of the base game.

This map still has so much untapped potential. The ocean was a waste of space that no one has any reason to visit [yet]. The northern 3/4 of the map only sees any action because of bunkers/facilities. I honestly thought that the Biker DLC would address this with a plethora of activities that took place on the upper portion of the map, but I was wrong... There are still buildings with unfinished/inaccessible interiors. The are mountains and forests and a crap-ton of off-road vehicles that haven't been tied together via missions/content yet. I mean, why would they supplant the "old" LS map with a much, MUCH older map from ten years ago?

The problem with your argument is Those are special editions not premium and not once we ever had a premium edition.
