I got $1.350M for loyal player on PS4. I haven't even played GTA online for over a year and a half and no way did I spend 10 million in the days between the 16th and 26th as I didn't even have 10 mill to spend so this can't be the rebate etc, as it wouldn't be $1.350M. They clearly stated a $250K stimulus bonus and tax refund of upto $1M so the total for that would be $1.250M. Who knows R* have given more in the past without saying anything we'll have to see when the 6th of March comes around if this is the only money we get then for those of us who got the $1.350M got a bit extra from R*.

Im on Xbox One btw and bought 1 sharkcard in early 2014. Dunno if that is a factor.

So 1.35 million appears to be the maximum loyalty gift... makes you wonder what constitutes the "loyalty" formula--probably hours played, combined perhaps with zero bans in the past is my ignorant guess?

 

PC here, and got my 1.35 million last night, which was a pleasant surprise--I'm usually among the last to get these 'gifts'. It's just an unreliable process--I've received most of the gifts and free items coming my way, but not all; e.g. only one of my characters got the free Duke 'O Death on the "returning players gifts".

 

FWIW, I've been playing since Oct. 2014, nearing 3,000 hours, and have had two money wipes due to script kiddie attacks (even some Shaft Card money got wiped, since it was all mixed together).

 

No Shaft Card purchases since late 2014/early 2015.

Started gtao in June last year and I'm at just over 30 days in game. I didn't get anything for two days but this morning I realized I was in the same session for over 36 hours (afk'ing bunker stock while sleeping and at work and running cars and med supplies in between) so I quit gta and it gave me 1.3 when I logged back in.

 

So I sold another half million and went to work a happy camper.

This rebate is only one per account? I spent money on a Tula and some other stuff on my second character, and never got the rebate for those purchases. Was buying that Tula regardless, so if I don't get it, that's fine I don't really need it. Just wish they would better explain these promotions for those of us who still regularly play with 2 characters.

- I've been playing since Day One (2013) with 43 days of playtime in total (360 and One).

- I've recieved hacked money during the Billionaire Days of GTA Online and got it removed the same week.

- I follow R* on all kinds of Social Media (+ email).

- I've been a Bad Sport once.

 

I've NEVER recieved a positive splash screen once in over 4 years of playing, I've NEVER recieved any money during these events, and I have any got 1 negative splash screen (we removed your modded money (back in 2013)).

 

Now I got:

NOTHING!

 

In fact the first thing I saw was "timed out locating session" when joining GTA Online. f*ck R* and f*ck this game!

I did all the math and should have gotten about 800,000 but I got 1,350,000 and im not complaining. I only been playing since December and bought things I needed anyways. I used that cash plus what I already had to buy the farmhouse bunker so I can start doing gunrunning.

 

I never bought a shark card and i dont cheat but I do play gta5 online after work every day that must be the loyalty part.

If the 1.35 million is the rebate and refund, then R* made a serious error, since I did NOT spend 10 million in the qualifying window to earn a full 1 million. lol I guarantee that. No Shaft Card purchases either for almost four years now.

 

Let alone the additional 350k I received vs. the additional 250k max refund plus a unique "10% spent" number every player is naturally going to have...

^^ Nope. A completely separate, surprise "gift" from R* that apparently varies in size depending on your "loyalty" (no-one knows the formula for that except R* themselves).

 

The tax refund and rebate might be lumped together into one payment, but no-one knows for sure until it "starts happening."

 

What you should see during the loading screen right before you get your tax refund (and possibly rebate lumped in with it) is something like this--from last year:

Yeah, sounds like they're lining our pockets in anticipation of draining them very soon.

 

I went from 3mil Tuesday a.m. to 7mil this morning, and I'm off work tomorrow thru sunday. Might be my best month in gta since I started playing last june.

 

My only purchase will be the IPC so I'll be down a couple million after upgrades.

Me and my friend both gotten 1.35mil. Now ive spent maybe 5mil tops but I know for a fact that my friend never ever spent 10mil during this event cause in his entire 4 years of gta he never had 10mil in his account lol.

Perhaps some players like myself have been given what we earnt, those with 1.35 million were given the max because the game couldn't figure it out?
