This why you've got to be careful about these 'rebate' promotions and similar types of offers.

 

If you bought the Lazer last week at 6M you'll now be eligible to a 10% rebate of 600k, effectively dropping the sale price to 5.4M - woohoo! Whereas this week you can get it for 4.8M direct.

But according to Rockstar's announcement, it was a $250k flat amount with up to $1m based on your spending. Getting $1.35m is more than both of those combined, so it's potentially something else.

^^ IMO, the 1,350,000 IS something else--just a 'goodwill' freebie to promote...something(?) in their player base.

 

I suspect the tax refund and rebate will be separate amounts for the sake of keeping things simple. If it helps:

I don't have it yet either--but also haven't logged in yet today.

 

Time will tell. But unfortunately, as in the past, some players never get it, others get it multiple times.

Just got the loyal player screen. Got $527,767 which is probably about right with the 250k and the rebate for purchases. I bought and fully modded a Pariah which would account for around 140k.
