The 2018 San Andreas State Tax Refund And Rebate In GTAO

Recommended Posts

Tax season is upon us and with 2017's population growth, the San Andreas Treasury Department is happy to report a new stimulus for all citizens - hustlers, triggers, shot callers and kingpins alike. Plus, take advantage of new state-wide GTA$ rebate program to spend on anything in GTA Online; from sensible investments like Executive Offices to submarine-sports car hybrids like the Stromberg.

Simply log in to GTA Online at any point between February 16th and 26th to qualify for a GTA$250,000 stimulus bonus. Also, all GTA$ spent in GTA Online between February 16th and 26th will get you a 10% rebate (up to GTA$1M cash back). Then come back after February 27th to claim your GTA$ stimulus bonus and GTA$ rebate.

All GTA$250,000 stimulus bonuses and GTA$ rebates will arrive in your Maze Bank account between February 27th and March 6th.

250,000 gift and 10% off everything for two weeks..

Is this the BIG announcement we were waiting on?

lol

What if it's a trap? It's tax related so they're probably tracking all our purchases!

Nice to get some dosh back from purchases! At the end of the day it all adds up.

People who complain about getting $250,000 for nothing are just ungreatful...

I don't know why I laughed so much at that.

They are giving a tax rebate of "up to" 1 million. So basically if you spend 10 million you will receive 1 million back. Hardly exciting is it.

Last year we got 425K, if I remember correctly. It was all spent on paint. Why are some paints so damn expensive?

Yet another Rockstar marketing stunt, yaaaaawn.

Put it this way; if you're new to GTA online then a free 250k could be quite a lot, but if you're thinking bigger and would like to receive another 1 million in rebate on top of that, you'll have to spend a mammoth 10 million in-game dollars, and where exactly do new players get that from, eh?

microtransactions (aka shark cards)

All designed to sell more stinky fish cards, and don't be fooled by Rockstar's marketing department.

As for long-term GTA online players, just ignore the rebate nonsense and take the 250k as an extra bumph to your daily/weekly income cycle.

lol Just chuckling at the fact that Rockstar chose to use the image from Ill-Gotten Gains Part 2 for this.

My first thought was 10% off the Lazer :') This strategy seems to work lol

Good God, spend 6 million GTA$ on something you don't really want or need in order to get a 600k rebate?

It's marketing shenanigans again, folks, and just a devious way of saying 'Lazer 10% off at 5.4 million'.

This marketing stunt has convinced me to take advantage of one.

I'm playing since release and I'm close to the state when there is nothing for me to buy. At least if we're talking about really expensive things. Lazer? Not going to happen: I will either get it with at least 25%discount or never since I'm packed on aircraft.

Rationally speaking, the only good thing here is 250k. 10% rebate capped at 1 mil should not influence you to spend unless you already wanted to spend. Even 25% discount will beat this rebate enormously and we have them almost on weekly basis.

Don't be confused, 10% rebate IS NOT equal to 10% more discount if the item is already on sale. It's actually less.

250k? Well, free money is free money. I would however trade both the rebate and these 250k for more unique high level unlocks. More health, more armor, some perks like faster cooldowns on services or prolonged efficiency of these services, not talking about OTR here. Like, for example, after rank 1000 cops turn blind eye is 20 minutes or some.

It's 10% rebate on purchases made between 16th and 26th February, buddy, not on the sales of any dupes you might have made. Not sure I understand your logic?

Simply log into your nearest PC public session to take advantage (whether you like it or not) of the latest in, uh, discounted GTA$.

And other shenanigans.

Interesting. $250k ain't much but I'm not griping, breadsticks is breadsticks. 10% rebate isn't gonna entice me into any huge purchases. Nowadays I either buy stuff I GOTTA HAVE as soon as I unlock trade price or I wait for at least 25% off for things I SORTA WANT.

Still, I might go through the car sites and maybe pick up a few cheaper items I've forgotten about.

So a free 250k + ~120k from buying the 190z and fully upgrading it

I really hope they discount some more weaponized vehicles from the DD Heist next Tuesday
