your angriness level when playing gta online

hello sparkly shiney members of this pearly glowy forum hihihi so my question for the day is: how angry can you get at players in gta online?!

 

there are many things that can get you fast very furious in gta online... like getting your stinky fish cargo destroyed, getting killed by passive in and out players, getting harassed, getting called mothers and honey flop money drop, players leaving before you can get revenge etc etc etc (excluding the session split sh*t, cloud serving etc)... let's say you get really frustrated and angry... how angry are you really?

 

 

a few days ago, i've been in a session where a uncrunchy man killed my flippy friend and me 5 times in his deluxo, always going in and out of passive... i went to his profile and there was his instagram. on his instagram and got to his facebook. on his facebook i got to his real job. i knew his hobbies and his job and where he works hihihi i just laughed and told him if he plays like that, maybe he should do it more anonymously, because not everybody is a fluffy penguin and might use this kind of information for whatever!

I don't get angry - it's a game. I play games for fun. I'm simple and don't care to much of stats n' stuff. I once got killed 26 times by a Hydra tryhard. I just stood there and thanked him for every kill he made. He eventually got bored and moved on - so did I.

 

So my vote is clearly "I'm friends with Dalai Lama and Buddah"

Well, i never was that much angry in Online, since i accepted all the bullsh1tery and unbalanced gameplay. Plus i don't sell anything, that means i don't have anything to cry about if it gets destroyed.

 

I get angry only in BF4, because i can't accept disbalance there, for some reason.
But then after i look at my new dogtags with flippy flappy emperor penguin drawn there and it brings me smile:

After 2K hours in online on PC I think I've lost my ability to get angry. Numb.

 

At first it was the Hydra tryhards. Exploding lobbies. Suicide tryhards. Cheaters with godmode. DC in heists. Randoms in heists. Cheaters teleporting import/export vehicles.

 

After all that just numb.

Oh, once upon a time, this was a very angry Willy. Back in the days of DMR & Spiker, running over SPARTANs in a rocket hog and getting too fed up with getting stuck every thirty seconds. Days of Halo, now passed, I'm a lot calmer and cooler, both in-game and outside. I just don't bother with PvP in GTA, it's a mess, and if somebody wants to shoot me up, all I can hope for is that they don't step on the peonies I've so carefully nurtured on my front lawn.

 

I still get irritated from time to time, of course. Once did The Prison Break six times in a row, failing a different way each time, and upon the seventh try, flying back to Los Santos in the Buzzard, was greeted with "Rockstar game services are currently unavailable." I just couldn't keep playing after that, but it wasn't anger. Just weariness.

 

But I come back to Los Santos, still, and to Liberty City, and to Installation 04, and still have fun and good times. I've been lucky that I don't lose sight of what I enjoy very easily, and I retain the knowledge that, if I'm bored now, it doesn't mean I will be bored forever. I'll come back, despite the bad times, and be happy to see my DMR and my galaxy blue Albany Emperor and the distant skyline, just waiting for me.

 

 

On the topic of tracking people down via their information, it's happened to me before. And it is very very scary. Think about it before you ever do something like that to somebody.

Though I will reciprocate any trash talk I get. Thank god most players don't know any insults beyond 'ur mum xDDDD" and "ooga booga cry pu$$ive noob ez".

 

In fact I'm still here partly just to tame the trolls, it's fun to see the seething rage of tryhards and griefers when they get bested. So I honestly don't have much reason to get angry either, I've played the game a bunch I know what to do. Oh and I'm on PC so I haven't touched the grind in 6 months.

 

Some notable experiences of annoying people:

 

 

 

1) Skinny-jean, Oppressor riding twins who were griefing

 

2) Tryhard who couldn't even best me with his godmode, speedhacks and tryhard buddy. Any tryhard is KILL ON SIGHT btw

 

3) Five cheeki breeki Russians, one of who was a cheater and another who was a lvl 800 tryhard. They followed me for 10 minutes, still lost

 

4) Four griefers who tried to do a Piracy Prevention. I got my Lazer out that day.

 

5) Two Hydra griefers. When I beat their score they followed me for about 10 mins and attempted to find me IRL (which I reciprocated), before I left.

 

6) Players who put bombs near LSC. They can get f*cked by my Starling.

 

7) Three Kanjali griefers. You bet I used my Orbital Cannon that day.

 

These are all I remember, I've got many, many more stories.

these days i only get angry at myself (and i want to flop my fluff with my flip) for being so goofy and sometimes being an easy target because of that hihihi but like you, laughing it off is happening more and more!!

I used to get angry, not so much anymore. I used to have my moments. Back on 360 I was into PvP because there wasn't much else to do when Heisting was over with. The passive mode in and out people really used to grind my gears. Back in the tank era was the worst. A nearly invincible deathmobile with unlimited ammo blowing me up over and over, yeah. Rage.

 

On Xbox One, someone blowing up my drugs or my resupplies used to piss me off, but since i'm up over $30 million now I don't really care. Go ahead, blow it up if that measly 2k and little half inch of RP makes you feel good. The Ghost Organization/ Hydra combo still kinda makes me see red. I don't even bother with these try hard marksman rifle dancer white hair and facepaint/rebreather people anymore.

 

I guess what got me the most angry was when I shot someone with bullets that cost a couple of dollars to replace, just me alone, and the person I shot is usually the one who started with me first. It's HAHAH LOLOWNED when they're winning, but i'm told how my mother boned the whole crew last night when I fight back, either though messages or by some 12 year old yelling in the mic. Then here come the rockets. Then here comes some sort of war vehicle such as an APC with the missile launcher, a lazer or a hydra (Deluxos now too). Then here comes merryweather and the mugger. Then here comes 4 other morons with the same crew tag. All of them together in the CEO, then Ghost Organization, and it's only me, shooting bullets. It's funny nowadays, I just laugh and leave.

I voted for bad things in real life. Bad racers who decide to go round backwards and smash into players are the most likely to anger me. Hosts need to learn what destroy last place is for, especially on certain tracks.

 

I'm a lot calmer these days, but I used to get properly angry, more frustrated at myself for not dealing with a situation as effectively as I could have.

 

These days I'll happily stand in the middle of the desert and take a jet on. just for the giggles.

I love the game, but I hate some things about it. I prefer to avoid these things not to be angry, ex: I hate NPCs in IE missions so I use Bob. I hate doomsday heist with passion and I only finished it once, won't play again even for $1 billion or infinite money. I hate randoms so I just don't play with them anymore.

This is the reason I did get angry for the only time.

 

I love your postings, but this is just so far wrong. We play videogames. I get annoyed when I lose loads or die often, and the NPC's are beyond comment. But if anything in a game starts to irritate me, that's time for a change of session/game/playstyle. Not just GTA though, any game. Like Gran Turismo, sometimes my lines are way off and my head isn't 'in it', so I just play other things, natural stuff.

 

This though, goes beyond a videogame. Shocking how popular it is. It's stalking and bullying, textbook stuff too. Why does this site allow so many to be so open about these things!.

What annoys me are mostly connection issues and lag, because that's the beginning to other issues, otherwise I find everything to be funny from player behavior to game bugs.

i must admit i can have a short temper when it comes to idiotic/trolling team mates in a LTS or something.

 

for example if they run people over/of the platform i make it my goal to do the same to that person not matter what.

 

in free roam i don't get angry EXEPT for when a f*cktard griefs the lobby in any kind of vehicle. i kinda feel the need to stop that sh*t and make him/her leave. yes i have used the orbital cannon on griefers like that.

There are two things that make me angry in GTA - dirty racers, and people who blow up my brand new car as soon as I've bought it and I'm taking it for its first test drive.

 

The latter happened yesterday with my brand new Hustler. I'd even called it through the mechanic. I was so excited to drive it that I didn't even think about passive, then BAM, Akula blasts me out of the sky and I've got even more minutes to wait before I could take it on a drive.
