Is there a way to import the GTA Underground models into DYOM?

There are some really cool character and vehicle models that I want to use for DYOM, but the Underground models do not show up. Is there a way to import them???

I think they will adapt DYOM to Underground.

There isn't as DYOM most likely uses static ID checks for said models, and supporting a variable number of them could be problematic when loading missions which use models which the person installing said mission does not have, for example.

 

It's not as simple as 'changing the checks', but all in all it shouldn't be too hard for us to do.

I think you can import GTA:UG models by editing the SCR.SCM file with Sanny Builders. You need to modify and add something in the ACTLOAD thread to able to load GTA UG peds. While vehicles has something to do with CAR, HELI and PLANE thread. I'll try modifying the file and see if it works. Make sure to check IGNORE_UNKNOWN to successfully load the file.
