How to Sell in a Full Lobby

For me, I just sell my I/E cars without ghost org or off the radar in a full, fully assisted aim lobby and never had any problems getting that done. Why? because every else is playing tryhard by stroking their precious pointless K/D and wasting money while i'm probably the only one making cash.

I actually think this is better than doing it in a solo lobby where you have to deal with those AI blue sultans who have perfect shooting accuracy.

I have to say--in most cases (though not all), using the Cargobob gets around the Blue Sultan AI BS quite nicely. Kudos to flexcreator for his helpful vids!

And I have to laugh at how I get a notification still telling me to "Boost off the ramp and through the ring to perform the stunt correctly and avoid raising any suspicion." (screenshot below) while I'm long gone already with the car in tow... just drop in, collect car, and off you go!

Using the bob also helps get around other players nicely too. I only ever source and sell with a bob (however lag issues can cause the car to drop off). If nothing else, bobbing the car saves a lot of time.

FYI you can also cargobob the trailer for the phantom wedge gun running sale mission (however I'd advise against it since the phantom wedge is the easier option).

Easy selling in a full lobby. I sold all my stolen CEO cars whilst spending two days in Bad Sport, which was...interesting, but possible.

I usually detach the Wedge in this mission and attach MOC trailer

Easier solution: join a friendly crew dedicated to sales. Enjoy.

Friendly? No, people in gta online killed more people than hitler did! Just to destroy our products... and then snipe you afterwards and say sh*t like "omg gta online is so boooring i get the worst snipers no one can even shoot meee"

My preference is to stop and park the car out of the way, soon as the first wave appears. Then I fight off the successive waves, get back in the car, and drive off in peace, with no damage. You want to park off the street because traffic goes nuts when the shooting begins. Being in the Cargobob, I feel like a sitting duck for other players since you can’t stop and fight them off. If someone attacks, you’re completely helpless if playing solo. If I’m in the car, I can stop, get out, and fight them off. It takes a little longer, but if I’m playing solo, it means I have nothing better to do anyway.

All decent tips but you shouldn't judge others for playing their way. That said, nothing feels better in GTAO to me than helping a friend sell five large warehouses during special cargo bonus week in crowded sessions. The only feeling that compares to it imo is being on the Pacific Standard finale when going for the criminal mastermind challenge but with sales we can get that level of tension more often.

Every time I help with a sale I switch modes to GAME FACE: ON

...and now with the stealthy Akula if i'm bored I can go help randoms sell without them blowing me up for helping, it's great!

Seriously though, imo if you haven't sold with friends in crowded sessions you haven't really experienced all that GTAO has to offer. Sales are probably the only time I get the feeling that I'm playing the game shown in the original trailer before release... this trailer.

Bumping this back up given the latest update focuses on businesses. Yes, I know we can now sell in invite only sessions but the high demand bonus has been buffed significantly so it may be worth it to go for those full public lobbies. Selling in full public lobbies isn't as intimidating as it looks for solo players.

*If you're entering the business game solo, prioritize the bunker and nightclub. These are the most solo-friendly businesses. The nightclub guarantees one delivery vehicle regardless of amount. The bunker has a trick to guarantee one delivery vehicle; simply buy one batch of supplies and then sell. Buy good business locations. DO NOT buy Paleto Bay locations as they make deliveries too time consuming and it's all to easy for griefers to pick you off on the highways. Instead, opt for locations closer to Los Santos.

*For nightclub owners, DO NOT buy the Mule Custom. It is slower than both the Speedo and Pounder. Vehicle speed is just as important as durability. The more ground you can cover in a period of time, the better.

*Switch to Free Aim. This is already known by business veterans but Free Aim lobbies are generally more peaceful than Auto Aim lobbies. See for yourself. You'll be surprised at the difference this little action makes.

*When you spawn in, check your map. Observe the general vibe of the lobby. Watch the kill feed. Are people leaving each other alone and doing their own thing? You're okay. Are there a lot of jets and Oppressors? Don't sell. There is no penalty for switching lobbies so make sure you find one you have a decent chance in.

*When driving, expand your minimap. This will allow you to check if there are any players coming towards you. Also, don't be afraid to take alternate routes to avoid groups of players.

*Ghost Organization is your best friend. But know when to use it. This comes down to your own judgement but if no one is coming after you, no need to waste it. Use your map and only pop it when you see potential threats on your radar -- things such as jets, Oppressors, or anyone cutting across roads towards you.

*If you do get griefed, immediately close your application or switch sessions. You will lose a little bit of product but you will make it up with the high demand bonus.

How much is that bonus now?

edit: something like 2.5% per player, and capped at 50% / 20 players, is that right?

That’s a lot of words that are mostly uninformed or wrong.

I have been doing businesses solo in public sessions since 2017 and everything @Giantsgiants seems is correct to me, so what is wrong?

Hm, yes, it seems to me like OP is only contributing to the griefing problem in this game.

I see alot of bad advice through this whole topic, like "cargobob in I/E saves time" uh, no, it doesn't, it only saves repair cost, but it's definitely slower.

Doesn't matter anyway, OP has been inactive for 4 years, and so has this topic.

Bob can save time depending on the mission, and on sales in solo pub/invite.

Sadly, with bunker + nightclub a solo player can bank millions more, kinda making i/e obsolete.  I’d hoped for a payment buff, some new cars, missions etc.  I/e was my jam.  When they added autoshop they p much gave up on it. rdr’d

I’ll do it now during double $$, but that’s it.
