Seeing this + considering how many topics with issues you're opening, makes me think there's something severely wrong with your OS. What's elevation? You mean Administrator Rights? Well, no. None of my games need it, but I keep hearing that running games as Admin can help prevent issues (especially in older games I.E. GTA 3, VC etc etc) So instead of right-clicking Admin every time I want to play a game, I just set them all to Admin. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are only a few games which need elevation (and on Steam, you'll almost never need that since games can write to their directory on Steam just fine), so you're being silly by setting that for all games.
