MrMojo Posted March 29, 2003 Share Posted March 29, 2003 Just before playing tonight, I checked my stats. My media attention was 344, Local TV news. I went off to do cherry poppers mission and got busted 3 times ;(. The last time i had 47 deals. So I went berserk and got to a 5 star level with just a baton and a pistol. ( Man, the stars go up quick when shooting cops). I got wasted and did a few more killings to 3 stars each. Then, I checked my media level again, but it was the exact same ! 344. In order to raise your media attention level, you pretty much have to wreak total havoc, and if possible, evade the police after doing so. This is best done in a Hunter or a Rhino, or by destroying aircraft or, if possible, Rhinos. WidowMaker Posted March 29, 2003 Share Posted March 29, 2003 You have to understand that media level is reset to zero once you get rid of the stars, what you see in your stats is the highest you have achieved it is not your current level, get six stars and survive for a long time, causing chaos, blah, blah, blah... Once you get rid of the stars (bribes/pay&spray) if your media level got any higher than what you had before your stats will be updated. It shouldn't be too hard to raise it above 344... I find the easiest way to get a high media attention is to hop on a PCG 600, wreak havoc to get 6 stars, and just run from the Army avoiding being run over.
