Auto-show bike helmet not working

When I get on a motorbike, my character doesnt put a helmet on. Auto-show helmet is on, and Ive tried changing my outfit and bike. Any ideas? Its like Auto-show is off

Last I checked these options were broken, always changing back by itself. I gave up even bothering with it.

Hmm it's news to me if they're not working, they seem fine on PC. Any particular vehicles or helmets to test?

Wait a while after getting on a bike. If you hop on and ride away immediately, they won't go through the animation that puts on the helmet.

 

I sometimes get the opposite problem: The character puts on a helmet when Auto-show bike helmet is off. I correct this by dismounting, waiting for the character to doff the helmet, and going into Interactive menu > Inventory > Accessories, then out of the menu (no need to re-select the "off" option). Maybe this could work for you.

 

I do this because the full-face helmet I wear on my Hakuchou is totally inappropriate on a Daemon. I mean, please...
